A bit more polite customer relation and response. Loved the fact that they don't charge for kids under 12, provided they sleep in the same bed as their parents. Extra charges for a bed are a little on the absurd side, I was offered an extra bed for the son at an additional cost of 70% of the room rent. I cracked a joke and told the receptionist, that sorry, I only wanted an extra bed and not the other furniture that accompanies the price. The receptionist stared blankly and said, that's the price and I can either take it or leave it. I wasn't in the mood to argue about customer service and the way to deal with clients, that was my case the whole Oman trip anyway, so I took it with a pinch of salt, thanked him for the key cards and went off to sleep. Room service pricing was a little too high for Oman standards, but loved the fact that it was 24hrs. The next day upon check out we realised that someone else had checked out our room number, instead of another. Fortunately, that never disturbed anything in the room while we were in. Guessing that, due to that confusion, he didn't bother to reply to my son's farewell and thanks for letting us stay.

The overall ambience and facility were good. We were there only for the night and checked out in the morning to resume our travel plans. The room was comfortable, the amenities were decent and we had a good night sleep.

The pool is not appealing as in the interior of the hotel with no sun. Indian restaurant on 6th floor in the hotel not that great. The already high drink prices in the Rock Bottom go up even more at the weekend!

Indian style hotel with a nice ambience in the corridors. Indian breakfast - was good. Helpful staff. Had a room facing a wall on the first night but on request was moved to a room on the 6th floor with a mountain view and across to the beach as well which was better and that was appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. Liked being able to enjoy the band which was quite good at the Rock Bottom on the ground floor but not hear a thing when I wanted to sleep because I was on the 6th floor. There was no charge for hotel residents to go into the club. The best thing about this hotel is the amazing location - 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Qurm beach and some good places to eat within walking distance, especially an Omani restaurant and the Crowne Plaza hotel which is hard to beat for dinner in the evening with its stunning views. Easy to get around from the hotel with Otaxi or the Marhaba drivers were fine as well - charged 12OR to go back to the airport at the end which was ok.

The beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was meh. Local options were ok, but Western-style breakfast options were not good.

Very old hotel with old ambience and facilities like pool, restaurants etc. Typical Mangalore(based in south India) style staff and atmosphere.

Location near Qurum Beach, just walkable upto 1km is the highlight. Overall this place is good, peaceful but not easily accessible to city tourist spots hence reaching this destination. This hotel has a night bar which is good for time pass. For travelers from South India, they won't feel homesick for a reason.

Breakfast was not up to the mark. House keeping opened the door and wanted to clean the room at 5.30pm when we were taking Nap. If someone inside the room, they should not open the door like this and ask for cleanup.

The room services fell short of my expectations, and I couldn't find better options. There is room for improvement in this aspect. I didn't receive assistance with moving my baggage to and from the room. It would have been appreciated if such services were provided.

The breakfast was enjoyable, but I would suggest expanding the variety of main course items. During my recent visits, I noticed a limited selection, and adding a few more options would enhance the overall breakfast experience.

Breakfast was really disappointing, there was mixed nationalities there but the food was mainly made for South Indians. A little bit noise can be heard at night time due to the club , but not much disturbing. Building itself seems to be very old, a renovation required massively

Room was clean and tidy, nice breakfast, staff were polite and helpful, the location is good as the beach is nearby, 2 to 3 minute walk. the for is nice, the hotel is one of best places to go for a steak. There is also live entertainment on a Thursday night. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room witch was nice

Sound of disco and bar in my room at night. Room a bit old and smelly There was a conflict in the early morning between a lady and a gentleman when police came, which feeled a bit creepy.

Price, location, ease of everything, including dealing with staff .. friendly and very helpful. The room is fit for purpose for business trips and solo travelers.. Great Location in Qurum Beach.. you have access on great walks on beach.
