The hotel was very nice, with a nice swimming pool, a little gym and an amazing location, just in the front of the 2nd world war landing strip built by the british...AMAZING! It is like beeing in a movie...with this "airport" in front of our rooms. Perfect staff.

Some of the furniture might had seen better days, but the beds are new, comfortable and clean. We had some trouble finding the place late at night since there is no obvious paved road leading to the hotel (but there is a WW2 runway going there, which is a landmark on its own).

The staff was extra friendly and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Even though we booked normal rooms, they upgraded them to the ones with a balcony.

There is no sign of Super OYO on the building, but there is no other hotel in the immediate area, so just drive on the abandoned runway untill you come to a well-lit building (on the eastern side of the runway) at the junction with a shorter runway.

Hotel is located a couple of minutes' walk from the beach, where, if you go early enough, there is a good chance of seeing turtles. Excellent open pool, open year round.

In the room, there was an old furniture full of ants. Also, I suggest to circulate the air as it was a bit stale when we got in the room.

Good breakfast. Excellent view on the sea. Be careful when driving around in this area as not all streets are enlightened. Very kind staff and beautiful opportunity to have dinner on the beach with Fa'il....

We will miss having the in-house biryani they used to serve for dinner at the hotel! It is unfortunately no longer an option but the staff recommended this little restaurant a few minutes away from the hotel which was really good.

A good alternative to the overpriced hotels for turtle watching at the reserve. I have been going to this hotel for years, every time I visit this part of Oman with new guests because its value for money is great, the staff has always been helpful and welcoming, and the location of the hotel on an old runway is just unique in its own way.

We chose this location mainly for its good position, being close to the Turtles reservation (15 minutes by car) and a short distance from the seacoast (5 minutes by walk). The room was big and clean. We had a room with a nice terrace where you could see the sunset. In the morning, we had breakfast, and all the food was tasty. The price fully matched the quality. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but in December really cold. We were satisfied, and we can recommend this hotel.

There aren’t any restaurants near the hotel, so you have to drive to have a meal.

The room was large and had a balcony facing the water. The furniture in the room was quite old and worn. The bed was large, but quite hard. Breakfast in the morning was really good. Great variety. The staff were really friendly.

Little bit hard to find, just need to turn off the bitumen road onto a gravel track for few tens of metres to get onto the old airfield runway for a safe drive away from any sand to reach the hotel = tall building with big white sign on roof in distance visible from the road

The staff is very kind and friendly. They also gave us important informations about turtles. The room was big and clean. Also the bathroom was very big. We had a small terrace, very comfortable. We asked for 2 coffes and they provided fruits together. Amazing!

Pool was a bit dirty so I decided not to swim in it.

Spacious room, bathroom, balcony. Person at reception was very nice. They have recliners next to the poll where you can relax.
