Nothing. However, an idiot decided to have a smoke at 3 am and set off the fire alarm for the whole hotel. This somewhat ruined the night. HOWEVER the manager did go out of his way to make up for this. This upset was the only reason didn’t give the hotel 10/10

The hotel has become an all-inclusive resort destination for Italian, Polish and Czech guests. In the public areas it felt more like a resort in Spain than somewhere in the Muslim world!! The food in the restaurant was a bit disappointing and what one would expect in an all-inclusive holiday resort not a 5 star hotel. The price of the food was high for the quality.

The room was nice and a good size. The location just next to the beach and close to Mirbat was good. The pool is huge and really nice.

Housekeeping wasn't as thorough as I'd like. I suspected they refolded used bath towels which is totally so unsanitary.

The pool is huge. I expected more of the beach but it wasn't at all like in the photos. Selection for breakfast and dinner was ok but not great. The cakes tasted stale.

Coffee at breakfast gets a 4/10.

The pool and the closeness to the sea. The employees are very friendly and helpful. If you book breakfast at the reception it is 4 OMR, if you show up in the morning at the restaurant it is 8 OMR. Peaceful location, visit Mirbat town 👍

Moisture in the rooms and floors getting wet when you open the balcony door

We had lovely experience with Wyndham staff. The staff was very courteous and helpful with our needs, especially Megha, who was extremely nice to our daughter. They also made our daughter's 2nd bdy memorable by organizing birthday cake for her and more importantly participating in our celebration. If we were to come here again the wonderful staff would be a key reason!

The hotel needs refurbishment. The built-in wardrobes stank of damp and I couldn't hang my clothes up for fear of the smell. The room felt a bit basic for the price I was paying. For that price I expect a bit of luxury. There were no European channels on the TV, just Arabic and BBC World. I like to watch a bit of TV when I'm away. The general changing room for women pool users was old and tired and not a nice place to be ..... badly signed and lit.

Lovely big hotel with glamourous swimming pool and seating area. Big lobby with nice furnishings. Lovely friendly, hospitable staff.

Pool bar wasnt manned but they did come out to serve us eventually. Some signs of repairs being needed (automatic doors were, well not automatic :), but to be honest they never impacted our stay and the sports bar tender more than made up for any downsides. I was sold an upgraded room with a baclocony that didnt exist, so if this is important for you, better check ! For us it didnt matter as we were on a sight seeing trip.

Evening Sports bar staff and breakfast crew were great. Beach was brilliant, we even saw Turtles. Rooms are all good. We didnt stay at the hotel much as we were out and about but always a warm welcome back.

1. Problems with power outlets, drainage system, etc. in the room 2. Very remote location 3. No private hotel beach - one has to walk to the neighboring “public” beach for a dip in the sea 3. Staff at the front desks doesn’t know the hotel policies
