The room was dusty and and for 2 days, we smelled bad from the pond. Resort need to work on regular cleaniess. Our booking includes breakfast, which we found average.

It's a beautiful resort with beach accessibility. My child enjoys the kids' club daily. The location is perfect, and the places give cosy vibes. Excellent for family stay.

Be careful with "pay at hotel" option with this resort. They cancel the booking previous day if they dont get the payment the previous day.

Good location, clean rooms, excellent beach. You need a taxi / rent a car if you want to go around. If you plan to stay at hotel take the full meal option as there is nothing near by.

I think it would have made the experience even better if there were dedicated time for ladies only for the pool and the beach.

Location was absolutely stunning. The staff were really helpful and hospitable. The beach was at walking distance so that made it so convenient for us to enjoy it.

gym was not kept up well at all. Weight machines broken/out of order, treadmills and cardio equipment not working. Gym seemed old. The room was quite dark

Location was great. Room was nice. Proximity to beach was nice. Sea was lovely. Room service was great. Bar staff were amazing. Gym is ok. Facilities overall are good. Views are great.

Bar on the beach was not lively enough - practically no music and barman was not really entertaining or speaking good English Sunbeds on the beach extremely uncomfortable - some broken with flat mattress ready to be replaced with more comfy ones We had very early check in and check out - receptionist was not really welcoming or appearing to care about our stay Rooms smelling humidity too much Swimming pool not very well arranged, quite a boring place and not very inviting, no music, no character

The hotel is a bit far from Salalah’s downtown . I didn’t like that the breakfast and the lobby is far from the room. The weather at Salalah is not so good. So it’s is not pleasant to walk outdoors to head to the restaurant or the lobby. You can ask for a golf cart to take you places, but you have to wait at least half hour for it. Maintenance take a long time to come to the room.

Breakfast was good. And the staff were helpful. The landscape of the hotel is designed beautifully.

Reception staff were not very welcoming. The bed mattress and pillows were not at all comfortable. 2nd night the power in the room kept turning on and off.

I contacted the hotel about a pick up from the airport but did not receive a response so I ended up getting a taxi from the airport. They either forgot to clean the room or tried to clean the room too late in the day (approx 16:00) so we had to call to request that they cleaned earlier in the day. The phone in the room did not work so I could not call room service/reception etc. We reported it but it did not get fixed. Twice we ordered room service and were told it would take 20 minutes to arrive. It took an hour on each occasion. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. I asked the hotel to book me a large taxi to the airport on check out day. The taxi arrived 15 minutes late (after me chasing it multiple times). The taxi then tried to charge me double the rate I had paid to go from the airport to the hotel when I arrived. After a short negotiation I managed to reduce the price, however this left a bad lasting impression of the hotel and they need to re-consider their transport team that they book for customers.

Great location and nice walk to the marina. The grounds were lovely. Great breakfast.

The humidity caused really a bad smell that i could not tolerate. Also, if i booked my stay with breakfast i am supposed to get it delivered to my room and not strict me to leave it just to have it in the restuarant??

Staff were friendly but didn't explain much , so found myself asking many questions about timings of facilities and how to get around etc, at check in . Not as much attention to detail like other rotana resorts ( fujairah and Dubai were much better) . The hotel is set in clusters so you'd have to walk to places like the spa via outdoor path and bridges. Breakfast was good but I'd say lacks variety for a continental breakfast. There's was also a tractor on the beach most of our stay and 1 of the beach restaurants were closed.

Good size room, nice view of the beach and easily accessible by walking , plenty amenities on site like spa and pool . Close to wadi darbat . Friendly staff

- Sun loungers at pool and beach were horribly stained and mouldy; they all should have been replaced years ago - Service at beach bar was extremely slow and incompetent despite the venue being nearly empty

- Good location - Staff were generally very friendly - We had the two bedroom suite which was very well maintained and perfect for our needs - Breakfast was good - Resort clearly is quite old but generally quite well maintained - Better than other reviews suggested, perhaps as a result of visiting slightly after peak season (mid September)
