I booked the 2 room suite with private pool, which is divided into 2 separate rooms, because it was the only room available with one bed. Even though I used only one room, they still charged me for both. Also, the pool was not heated, so I couldn't use it.

Amazing location and excellent staff. We had the buffet dinner in the restaurant, which was really good.

Breakfast options are poor for vegetarians. Also had a scare with a scorpion spotted in the room. Quick action from staff sorted it out.

the meals fed us but were nothing you’d write home about and so given the price, it seems a BIT high for what you’re getting (but then again, your options are quite limited in this area).

The vicinity of this location to incredible views, hikes, and climbs can’t be beaten! One of the most amazing sunsets you’ll find in Oman. Regarding rooms, the bed was actually quite comfortable. I expected something like a rock but it was very comfortable. I stayed in a cabana which have less than ideal showers (I’m 183cm and I think the shower was about chest height) that flood the bathroom. But the room had everything and more than you’d expect. Being winter, the heater was wonderful and the cute little patio was wonderful to sit at.

We had the half board rate (don't expect to find any restaurant up there). Good service, food is decent however very local, choice should be improved

Very nice location, good start point for hiking for W10 and W9 to Misfah, possibility to hire some guides locally, good welcoming. Overall good quality stay for price.

No shower curtain, so the entire bathroom gets wet. Difficult to heat up the room since the A/C wasn't working properly and would turn off every few minutes.

With hindsight, the hotel is a little bit too much off the beaten track. From there, it'll take you 30-60 minutes to the next wadi or village to visit.

There was no wifi throughout the hotel. Bed was quite hard.

Great location at the top of the mountain. Weather was still amazing in July, 19degrees Celsius at night. Bedrooms were big. Breakfast was limited but sufficient (starts only at 8am, we had a hike planned for 9am). Staff were helpful. We liked the patio behind our rooms where we could sit and relax with our friends. Rooms and bathrooms was acceptably clean and there was hot water.

The down side of our stay was the room location right next to the children’s play area. We had a chalet that was lovely but had zero sound proofing and some children were playing until about 1 am and again from about 7 am. In between times another guests dog that was tied up barked intermittently all night and we got almost no sleep. It was a shame as the hotel was lovely really and I think almost any other room would have been perfect.

I would suggest to improve attention on details (as providing two towels for two people, for example).

Beautiful landscapes, good point for trekking tours. Good quality/price rate. Staff friendly and very helpful.
