Best and safest option when travelling with family.. we had a fantastic stay! The beach access, clean swimming pool and sea-facing rooms were an absolute delight.

The hotel is declared on booking.com as a 4 star resort, although the official national rating next to the reception says it's rated 3 stars. This is also the reason why it didn't meet our expectations. We were there off season, maybe that's the reason for the small breakfast buffet? It also would have been nice to have a couple more parasol/sunshades at the pool as well as the possibility to take one to the beach, which has no shadow whatsoever. Important: there's no elevator! If you have a walking disability it most probably will be challenging.

The staff was trying to tend to every request and the ice coffee at the pool was amazing. The location is quite remote with a massive and tranquil beach right in front of the hotel.

The location is good. I think is the best in masirah island. The staff are nice and especially manager Mr. Puran, he helps us a lot! The message you leave they will give response asap.

The shower was really useless. Almost zero water pressure. The shower really needs attention. Also the hairdryer is very dated and doesn’t blow much air.

The bed was super comfortable the sheets and duvet cover great quality, very impressed. Lovely swimming pool. Great sea view. Breakfast was adequate. The staff in the restaurant both the F and B manager and the evening waiter were very helpful and approachable.

Mattress was very hard. Ants in our room. Instant coffee instead of brewed (or espresso). Everything else was fine.

The location was excellent - right on a beautiful beach. The pool area was clean and nice. The breakfast was pretty good and the dinner was good some nights and fair others. The grilled fresh fish was our favorite item on the buffet. Real brewed coffee (not instant) would have made the breakfast much better. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Wifi to be improved, internet was often disconnected.

Unique location, basically the only international hotel on the island. Nice pool with Jacuzzi, bar was closed due to Ramadan but you could order in the room, simple restaurant but decent selection of food, including local catch of the day. Great staff that has been super helpful, from the Office Manager Puran Singh Negi to Mohamed & Abdul Rahaman at the restaurant. Will definitely come again.

Fourth trip to Masirah but our first staying at Masira Island Resort. Great location, large room with pool and sea view (it looks like all rooms have this), lovely pool, excellent food in the restaurant. Service was 1st class: would like to mention Darel on reception, Abdul at breakfast and Arif at dinner who were very attentive and hard working. If you are into wildlife, this is the place: the information available on turtles, in particular, is superb. The hotel is not brand new and you can tell by some of the decor here and there, but that's fine by us.
