Some guests were smoking on the balcony and the smoke went into the room. The bed feels like you sleep in a pit as it is too soft and doesnt straighten up after its pressed down by your body. 10 people in the room is a bit too much especially when the A/C is off at 7am and all of them starting to sweat. Having the hot water would be nice, especially when you shower in the evening.

Breakfast was nice, menu changing every day. Can use kitchen and fridge. Have laundry service. Location easy to find. Neighborhood is safe. A few stores and restaurants around. Pool area is nice.

Staff was so nice, even got me breakfast when I was a few minutes late. Everything was clean, so many places to chill even though it wasn't a huge hostel, it felt like you had plenty of privacy if you wanted it.

A nice little garden with a pool. WiFi was good enough to do video calls. 24-hour reception, kind staff. I was able to leave my luggage for a couple of days while visiting San Blas islands. Grocery stores and restaurants available in the area. Locker under the bed - big enough to fit a smaller backpack.

The toilet in the room had flooded and was not usable for a few hours. The caretaker cleaned it up as best he could and it was usable during the night. Breakfast service closed 5 minutes early.

The private room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool/lounge area was inviting. I am older than the typical hostel demographic, but I found that most guests were respectful and quiet. There was no noise at night and I could sleep well. The location is a lively, but safe part of town with a variety of nice restaurant options. Overall, Bodhi is a good value for the price and I would definitely stay there again on another visit to Panama City.

Sometimes there was some competition to find an available toilet in the morning, so a bit of patience and flexibility is recommended. ;)

I liked everything about my stay at Bodhi Hostel. I had a roomy and quiet private room in the front of the building with a view, plenty of storage space, a desk w/chair to get some work done, my own AC unit and different lighting choices. The staff was friendly and helpful, the common areas were comfortable (including a clean pool) and the free breakfast with coffee is much appreciated! A central location within walking distance of a metro station and several ATMs, restaurants and bars plus a quick $6 Uber ride to the Allbrook airport & bus terminal. Happy Hour beers for just $1 each evening!

There is not a lot going on in the area. You need to go by uber to the better area, Casco Viejo.

Nice hostel with a pool. The rooms have a lot of space which is perfect for backpackers. Nice common area and breakfast is included 😊

Staff was awesome and so was the location. Milton helped me with check in. I liked it so much, I already booked it for the later part of my trip as soon as I saw the room. It's big spacious room and lower beds have curtains. They have AC at night which means a comfortable sleep. Pool is great as well, and so is the breakfast. Whether I had questions about a tour or requests about the room or transportation questions, Milton was so very helpful. Thanks Milton and everyone for making my stay with Bodhi so great. I hope more Bodhi locations open up outside Panama as well :).
