We couldn't stay longer!!!

Secure private villa ideally located on a mostly private black sand beach, pristine swimming pool surrounded by well maintained gardens, private balcony overlooking the ocean, community kitchen, availability of washer and dryer, and Jorge our host who personally cooked our morning breakfast, toured us around the area, was a wealth of information about Panama, and ultimately a friend!!

We weren't expecting the bathroom to be separate from our room, but I may have not noticed that as I was quickly booking and it was only a quick stop. I think other rooms may have a connected bathroom.

Convenient stop on our way up the coast. The property is beautiful, especially in February with so many bougainvilleas in bloom. It's on a hill, so the view is amazing and it's a quick paved walk down to the beach. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Jorge was a fantastic host! He brewed fresh coffee for breakfast; every morning a different blend. He had tons of suggestions for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, etc. He even supported us with our real estate search. His property was on an elevated level from the beach, providing beautiful views for sunrise, sunset, etc. Access to the beach. Nice size "sitting pool" allowing to cool down and read.

The Host and Owner needs to be careful with the repetitive comments about Dog races (my wife didn't like the comments regarding Pit Bulls, as we have one Pit Bull)

The beach view is outstanding and the house garden and pool are in a perfect symphony.

CafeGourmet was incredible!!! Johnny, the owner, was so kind, accomodating, and went well above what was needed to make our stay so wonderful. The pictures of the villa on line only show a fraction of its beauty.....it is AMAZING!! Johnny cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. We ate out on the veranda over looking the ocean ejoying his delicious coffee. He was the kindest host I have ever met. We are already planning a trip back!!!

I had the idea there would be some sort of food at the place because of the name "cafe gourmet..." . I think it's a bit confusing as this wasn't the case, instead people should do some grocery shopping before arriving as a kitchen to cook your own food is available.

The house is exactly as the pictures show- an amazing view of the horizon, you can see the sunrise out of your doorstep, well kept, clean. The host Jorge was friendly and helpful.

Every morning he made his signature coffee. He makes it miking different coffee from all over the world. If you like coffee you will love Jorge's. Very beautiful, clean and comfortable place. Very kind and attentive Host will make you feel like at your own home. Delicious breakfast is sreved in a very pretty setting of flower garden with the ocean view. If you need the Host will arrange a nice lunch from the local restaurant or prepare gourmet meal by himself. Amazing Corona beach can be easily accessed from the garden's terraces. The flower garden is as beautiful as on pictures. Nice pool is available to cool down on those hot days. The room with private bathroom are very spacious. The balcony is the place where you want to seat and watch the ocean every time of the day and night...as the views are spectacular with the rainbows or stars and moving boats'lights at night. Morning sunrise cannot be missed from the comfort of the room's balcony. We came only for couple days and stayed few nights longer. Did not want to leave. Will recommend CafeGourmetPtaCorona to everybody.

Very hard to find. The name on the gate was different from the name advertised. No instructions were given on how to find it. It took us more than 40 minutes to find. The fact it was a shared kitchen was not clearly advertised. Shared kitchen was a bit grubby and dated.
