My Wife and I were on a long road trip through the country and traveling with an Ice Chest in the car which we couldn’t bring in the room. I understand that they want you to buy drinks…at their restaurant (Which we did), but it’s also nice to have snacks..in the room. I don’t think that the Extra charge for bringing an Ice Chest is justified. Or maybe they should have a mini fridge?

Very nice setting with beautiful garden, nice play room upstairs with Ping Pong table, books, games, TV and a balcony with a couple of tables and a beautiful view of the surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff!

There really wasn't anything we didn't like there.

My husband and I really appreciated the lovely grounds, the food was very good, and staff was especially gracious and lovely. Also loved the bicycles they provided for close trips into town, hotel was close to town also.

The grounds were beautiful. A very romantic property with tables and lounges across the property in separate spaces for privacy. Free bicycles were very convienent.

We absolutely loved the grounds of this hotel. Set among tropical lush landscape, this place was quiet and located only a few blocks from the center of town. we enjoyed the food at the restaurant and breakfast was just perfect to get the day started.

This is "complaining" on a high level but it would be practical if the staff could speak English. At breakfast, a menu card of what is available to choose from would be very good, as we simply received a straightened plate the first morning.

The garden is really beautiful. The hotel is lovingly decorated with many details. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the outside area are very clean.

When we first entered our room, it smelled very musty.

The hotel was comfortable. The decorations, landscaping, flowering plants, and palm trees made it feel very welcoming and appealing. The staff was warm and friendly. We loved being able to use the bikes to ride around town. We loved that breakfast was included. The shower water was nice. There was hot water and good pressure.

The only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated well, so when we were cold and it was raining, we just needed to head inside.

Just one block off of the main strip in El Valle, it’s lovely and much quieter, but still walking distance to the butterfly sanctuary, the geothermal springs, and the downtown restaurants and shops. Cute little pool in the back, hammocks all over, and a yard that has a bunch of spots to sit and chill or order food/drinks- it was a fantastic place to stay!

The room had just been fumigated, I think. It took a little while for the smell to disapate.

A last minute visit. Parking and check in easy. The small intimate garden had tables spread throughout for guests so you weren't on top of each other. Food was excellent.

The location is nice, just a little off the main Street. The grounds are beautiful. There are bikes avail able for use and a small swimming pool. The room was simple and clean. The breakfast was fruit, yogurt, granola and then eggs, cheese, meat and bread. Staff were welcoming and helpful!

Dinner and menu very basic and took way too long, towels could be newer and the flooring of the bathroom was dirty, still had items from previous guest.

Location is easy to get to in El Valle. The room was spacious and the setting of the hotel is pleasant. Reception staff were friendlyand very willing to help. Breakfast was very basic, better bread was needed. Quiet area. For the price and location I would return.

It wasn’t as fancy as I had expected from the photos and the rating. Unfortunately when I asked about the pool they said you had to book the day to use it, as it is small and only one room can use it at a time. I don’t know if they so meant pay because I didn’t look further into it.

It is very clean and well staffed. There is always someone around to help if you need something. the grounds are very beautiful and the back garden is peaceful to eat breakfast or have a drink. the room was a nice size and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.
