This area of the city is not very prosperous and might be a bit overwhelming for some. I (me average build, pushing 60, white hair) explored it a bit during the day (alone and as a couple) and then a couple of times in the evening (alone). I did not feel menaced but I not feel that was the safest place to be out at night. There are few restaurant options. The 24hr reception and the parking monitor make the hotel itself safe.

The amazing welcome we received from the Greek gentleman who runs the place - a great way to start a stay (and thanks for that!). The Location: 2 minutes by foot to the subway, super easy to find taxis, 10 minutes by foot to the fish market, less than 20 minutes walk by way of the fascinating (Pedastrial) Avenida Central (to the Old City). Lots of supermarkets, mini-markets, little pastry shops, etc. We wanted to share out time between the Parque Metropolitano and Old City so the location was great The rooms are very large and very clean.

Getting what you order on the menu would be nice. The cook likes to bring you the most expensive dish instead. He does do a good job cooking what he brings.

Breakfast is only included with certain rooms. American breakfast was only OK. The last day we asked for fruit. The cook went down to street and prepared us a very good breakfast.

Windows in the room are very small and located high on the wall. It is impossible to look through.

The stuff was very helpfull. Location is good, lot of atractions is acsessible by foot. Rooms were clean. Restaurant and bar on the roof of the hotel is amazing.

Excellent service, the staff is impressive, the cleaning person is very collaborative, the reception is impeccable, in general all the staff is very friendly and helpful, I recommend it for the location and staff.

There was no table or chair so I had to go upstairs to the restaurant to make my notes. The restaurant is a dance floor area, huge, no character, with very loud music always playing. You have to shout to be heard. Location is very working-class with few facilities suitable for tourists nearby.

The staff were exceptionally helpful especially "Byron". The metro station is jist around the corner.

The room was a little odd with no window but wasn’t a big deal and we didn’t realise there was a club/ casino underneath but you couldn’t hear it upstairs.

We booked last minute due to two cancelled flight onwards to Costa Rica, decided to stay in Panama for a few days… We got there and my booking hadn’t even gone through yet.. was my fault 100% But They kindly waited for me to send it through again and let us store our luggage until check in time. The upstairs open pool and area was amazing. A young guy who’s name I can’t remember but came from the San Blas islands was really polite and helpful.

Owner Victor legend, staff extremely kind an helpful. Room is like a small apartment. Had it all, including kitchen. My window looked to the hallway with a curtain always on. Personally i didn't mind this. Netflix and AC, super comfortable bed, and caffe always available on bottom or rooftop by the pool where besides a bar, chef Rey serves amazing food. Proximity to center, street food and shops.

The area , while authentic its sketchy and one must be on guard at all times.

If you want to experience the true "urban" feel of Panama City, you will enjoy your stay. The area is sketchy during the day and a no go zone at night. But the hotel is safe and secure with friendly staff, clean rooms, and an excellent restaurant on the top floor. The top floor contains a beautify outdoor space with bar , dance area, lots of tables and a place to meet by the hour "friends". I only did lunch and the food is good and plentiful. Over all I would return for the rates, food and excellent staff.

Room on 2nd floor had large light outside window that could not be blocked with big curtain. Television had few available channels. jacuzzi had jets but was not hot.

The staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The rooftop area was good for relaxing and having a cigarette. Good free breakfast .Good bakery on the same block. The owner helped me to find a place to watch the rugby World Cup. Got to see Ireland beat South Africa. made my stay.

The soap needs to be upgraded a bit. This one does not make a bit of a soapy foam it was dry. I Guess you will need to bring your own liquid soap to counter this one.

Location, the staff makes sure you have the little details in your room taken care off (e.g. Coffee filter, coffe mugs, sugar). Attend requirements on the spot.

I don't understand the policy of having to submit both I'd when making the reservation and if the +1 reaches after you have to go to. Desk submitt I'd and the whole process and this should be discrete and private. That's the whole reason of reservation for two, three just ask for the ID of the card holder and that's it.

Rooms are big enough, Comfortable, remote A/C, Bed covers and pillows are up to date. It had the coffeemakers, I some cups, utensils like plate and even dishwasher. It is very centric so if you know your way around the city then it becomes easy.

The area was a bit unsafe in the evenings.

I stayed a week at Hotel Casa Miller. It was a very clean and accommodating hotel. The owner, Vincent and his wife Eva were wonderful to me. Everyone of the staff members were kind and extremely helpful, including the security men that made sure I was safe and helping me into my ubers/taxis. Julien even walked me to the subway to get a pass and made sure I got on the correct train. Unfortunately the hotel isn't in the safest part of town, but during the day it was no problem and they made sure I didn't go out at night.

I thought I heard a dog barking and it is a bit noisy since it can be heard throughout the hotel

Very nice attention from the guys at the reception, they helped me with the suitcases and I like that they are fluent in both English and Spanish, they were very courteous in everything, they responded to any disagreement and above all highlight the good work that everyone does in the place, they have very nice rooms and very well prepared for a nice lodging, I loved staying and of course I would do it again, as long as my 2 boys who helped me throughout everything are there Kevin and Bayron, they are excellent workers and very kind , a good place without a doubt
