First visit, problems with plumbing, door locks and ambivalent service in fixing this. Friendlier service second visit. Roof top pool now in the middle of a restaurant with limited hours of access.

Location on the edge of Casco viejo was great. Room decor was cool. Excellent restaurant next door (Santa Rita).

Had room with window by small alley street so a bit noisy with traffic sounds and guy's trying to get $ for helping you park. Also there were small flecks of what we think maybe wood mixed with paint that slowly sprinkled on head part of bed. Our son & wife's room across on other side of building was allot nicer and didn't appear to have the same issues. We were all on the ground level.

Depending on the room one might get, the loud sound boom from the rooftop rest might be bothersome if you are trying to sleep before 2am when they close.

Convenience of location offers proximity to Casco Antiguo for a reasonable value.

Noisy because of the movement of back and forth to the rooftop. Small room, not much storage area.

The downside is that there is a rooftop bar and restaurant which can be quite noisy. My most recent room was near the stairwell and elevator which added to the noise.

This was the second time I stayed here, using it as a transition hotel as I passed through Panama City. Both times my room was dark and industrial feeling. But it had al that it needed and was in Casco Viejo, the lovely historical neighborhood.

Depending on the time of your stay: the balcony is shared and when you are unlucky as we, you have people gathering very close to your door and talking early in the morning.

Nice rooms, big and with what is needed. Bathroom was huge & stuff is friendly.

It was a great location. Had a little misunderstanding at check in but it was quickly corrected with a smile . Decor was adorable .

The garden view room was not my favorite, hard for me to sleep without a window in my room. There was a big glass window and door that faced the garden where you could open the curtains, but I didn’t open for privacy reasons. The staff was really nice and allowed me to switch rooms, which made my stay after the first night, great!

The metro station (5 de Mayo) is a little bit far away (15 min).

The room was very authentic, the bed was comfortable. The location is perfect for discover Casco Viejo, and the fish market.

The toilet did not work. It would not fill nor flush . We tried filling it manually but nothing worked and we had to ask the staff to help us but they could not get a plumber in time. The toilet had obviously been broken before as the handle was full of glue on the inside when we removed the lid to fill it. The shower was slimy with moss as it is cement not tile. The room was unclean and the linens not changed when we arrived but the staff did bring fresh linen for us to change.

The location on the edge of Casco Viejo was good, although due to construction you have to walk in the road or along the culvert to get to it. The architecture and design of the hotel is charming with many nice touches and felt authentic to the area.

Simply seemed a little overpriced for the room

If there was a breakfast offered, we did not know about it. I did like the quick access up the stairs and into my room. The people at the front desk were helpful..

very small room, not much room to put stuff. The block you have to walk to be actually in Casco Viejo, is nasty.

It is right at the edge of Casco Viejo, so walking 1-2 blocks you are there. The decoration is interesting - upscale rustic. Big bathroom. It has a little porch for sitting out. Upscale restaurant upstairs.

Too much noise and passing of people. my room was on the ground floor on the patio. People take breakfast and talk loud in front of the room.

The stone walls in the room have lots of debris falling off them making it unpleasant to walk bare foot in the room. Lukewarm showers.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Helpful receptionist staff who photocopied our passports for us when we requested. Our aircon stopped working but they moved us to a larger room with working aircon. Great restaurant next door.

I was expecting rest and good sleep after long traveling but some loud music was played at rooftop late in the night, people were talking in lobby all night and the walls were like paper and we couldn't sleep. In the morning some construction work and drillin 6am made sure that we did not sleep at all. The place is nice but not for people looking for peaceful sleep

It’s extremely noisy!!! We read the reviews about the loud music, but that wasn’t the main issue. The unbearable was constant construction work from 5.30- 6am, it happened on all of our 8 days there. We asked the reception if it’s a constant reparation, they said it was only one time thing and then ofc continue to repair stuff at 6am. I def do not recommend staying at this hotel unless you like to wake up at 6am
