I arrived at night. This property would not be easy to find at night with a cab, so I called Lilia (the owner) and she sent out a taxi driven by her good friend Daisi. Daisi arrived in 15 minutes and took me to the apartment (10$). The apartment has 2 bedrooms and Lilia sleeps in one of the bedrooms. There are no cafes or food stores nearby although Daisi offered to drive me to one if needed. At 10 pm the neighborhood became very quiet so I slept well. The apartment is comfortable and has hot water in the shower. Daisi picked me up at 8 am the next morning and took me to the Metro train station. They were both wonderfully helpful - what a delight! Highly recommended!

Overall it met our expectations, maybe if there was AC in the whole apartment but I could see how that could be prohibitively expensive. We were told not to walk in the area after dark as it was not safe. Very early in the morning there were local vendors on megaphones selling fruits etc on the street.

The host also lived on the property, she was very nice and accommodating. She spoke spanish and translated by google translate. The home was just a few minutes by car from the airport. There was a kitchen we could use, refrigerator, dining table, patio, and some light food choices available for inexpensive purchase (cup of noodles, fruit, juice etc). There was also some bathroom products available for low prices (like shampoo). There was good air conditioning in the bedroom but just fans in the rest of the apartment.

I wouldn’t recommend walking around the neighborhood especially at night though a police station is kinda close. It is a working class neighborhood nothing wrong with that but you will stick out like a sour thumb. It’s more or less surrounded by little industries .

Wonderful very clean location close to the airport and a gas station so you can fill up your car before returning it to the car rental. Good for one night stay while you wait for your next flight. There is nothing around unless you drive but wouldn’t recommend driving around at night around there. Again good place to arrive after an early dinner so you don’t have to leave until morning. You can purchase coffee or water and sodas as well as snacks (think bags of chips or peanuts) at the property .

The owner, Lilia, could not have been more helpful. Language was not a barrier as she used Google translate to explain everything I needed to know in English about the property and places to eat that were walking distance away. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the closeness to the airport was exactly what we needed. There was even a large supermarket and takeaway food shops no more than an easy 20 minute walk away. Lilia even organised an uber for us for the morning we left so we were well taken care of.

Very small room and no windows to outside. Our airport transportation didn’t work out as the driver was sick. She had warned us but we were off line. It is close to the airport but taxis don’t know about it. And taxi was expensive. (I think Uber would have been better). Extra cost for coffee.

Well equipped very clean room, including separate kitchen and shower room. Convenience foods ($) and kitchen supplied, as no restaurant nearby. Host very welcoming and good at Google Translate! It feels safe. Cheap for a place close to the airport.

The owner was super attentive, she also asked us if we needed transportation to the airport. Also, the room is simple but has everything you need, it’s super clean and neat. I think it’s good for the amount of money that you pay for it.

The hostess was very personable; she attended to me immediately upon arrival and took the time to speak with me, making me feel comfortable, safe, and at home. Excellent water pressure in the shower! The room was impeccable and stocked with snacks and cold drinks, which were appreciated after a long day of travel. I was there for a short stay only, a connection between flights, but I will return the next time in the city. Thank you, Lilia, for your hospitality.

Mrs. Lilia is super friendly and helpful, she arranged a car/ taxi for me at a very good rate too. The room was already with airco on, nice and cold (36 degrees celcius in Panama that day I landed); very clean room and bathroom! The location is very close to the airport, and a super quite neighborhood off the main street. Not much around for you to go walk around or shopping. But I was there to eat (ordered takeout) and sleep (taxi would pick me up at 5am the next day). I stayed 1 night as I was doing a layover in Panama City, and I did nto want to stay in the city or near the center as my flight left super early the next day.

Our Uber driver had trouble finding it as did we the next day when we were on our own, even with Waze. (We didn't try Google maps). Once we found the place, it was super easy to get back to. Here's a hint: Use Lilia's full name (Lilia Batista) and the location will pop right up.

Location was perfect--very near airport. Apartment was immaculate--you couldn't get it cleaner. Lilia was very considerate and flexible. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

They had snacks for sale which was not very obvious. Fortunately, I figured it was for sale before I opened anything.

The room was comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. I cannot comment on the neighborhood because I arrived after it was dark and left before daylight. They recommended taxi service which I booked before my arrival.
