Location is a bit off the beaten path, but on the upside, that contributes to it being quiet.

It was quiet, the owners were AMAZING and so helpful and friendly. The kitchen is available for cooking your own meals. Refrigerator in kitchen is also available to use, on top of the one in the room.

Location is a little rough for walkablity, but it is beautiful and quiet.

Free coffee, free use of a kitchen. Apartment refrigerator in room. Waterfall shower head, owner and family friendly and very accommodating. Laundry service at a very reasonable price.

Very cute and comfortable hostel. Nice kitchen, with grocery store a 6 minute walk away. Solid internet, excellent A/C and very comfortable beds. Lots of TV stations, if you want. Very friendly and caring hosts!

The 24 hour check in was exactly what we needed. The guy working the check-in counter was extremely helpful and friendly- made us feel right at ease.

We didn't have a window in our room and unfortunately the air conditioner was pretty loud.

The kitchen has everything you need. There is free coffee for everyone. We used the washing machine for $3 which was great. It's a very quiet and nice area, but there are not many restaurants around. The next shop is in 10 min walking distance.

A bit hard too find and outside of the city, you should check before booking. Walls are very thin!

My shower didn't have hot water. I was able to use a more central bathroom and that shower did have hot water so all was ok in the end. But my room was a 'penthouse' with many windows for great views and good breeze. That nice room needs to have a hot water shower available.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even had one of them eat dinner with us one night. Also LOVE that they have a full kitchen where you can cook, make tea, etc. It's fun to meet other people there, and to make the types of food that you eat AND save money from having to eat out for each meal.

The room they gave me was behind the laundry room. This room shouldn’t even be used. You are trying to relax or sleep and you can’t because the washing machine and dryer are constantly making noise. Also, the door to the room was damaged, which it made it really difficult to enter the room. Regardless of price, this 2 things were unacceptable.

A short time after our check-in, we returned from the shop to find the toilet had overflowed and covered the floor along with all of our bags with water. Staff were not sympathetic, and when we asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere, they refused and just moved us to another room. The towel in the new room was a joke; it was ripped, frayed, and looked like a crocodile had been at it. I found it insulting that one of the staff had the cheek to suggest we had blocked the toilet, which is why it had overflowed. After all, we had only been there for a couple of hours! Not good.

Booked this location in error (had to leave the app during search) and the cancellation policy immediately irritated me. Check-in hours are very limited and the automated response informing me that my requested check-in time between 6PM and 7PM was subject to an additional charge angered me. Location is in a residential area, streets are poorly illuminated and very narrow: navigation app required. Room was tiny and lacked windows except for a small one in shower. Shower was not 'cold' but not hot either; no other hot water. Refrigerator (and room) was warm on entry. Cabinets were open with an air freshener can, suggesting that mildew odors are a problem. Bedsheets were polyester. Room was filled with odor of burning plastic by air conditioner (AC) during the night for unknown reason. Room had one chair; no table or desk. I had a superior experience in Panama City for a comparable price last week, so prices in David are higher for no obvious reason, but it was a disappointment.

Room was clean. Air-conditioning worked. Morning coffee was a quality blend, not the cheapest option. Internet worked; did not try TV. It was a basic place to sleep, if you could.

The staff and owner are rude and lack of common sense. The place didn't fit to my needs and I requested for early cancelation, they didn't had the will to workout a corresponding reimbursement.
