Nothing. As mentioned earlier, it’s not luxurious or updated, but is clean and functional.

Great location, close to El Valle’s restaurants (there aren’t that many of them, but it’s a perfectly decent selection for 3-4 days). On a quiet street, very close to one of the drop off points for the bus from Panama City. Property and furnishings were older, but clean. Not luxurious, but was functional and comfortable. Wall unit a/c worked great. While only in the bedroom, it cooled the living room with the doors open between the rooms. Sounds of the rainforest at night and during the day was a wonderful element. Owners are very kind and helpful. Managed to communicate fine using Google Translate, since my Spanish is limited.

Communication with owner was excellent, we got the entrance code prior moving in. Place is big and clean, with some kitchen facilities. There is a big terrace and huge outdoor kitchen. It is 10 min walk to the city center, but it is safe and peaceful area for staying there. Very easy to find.

The kitchen should be "well equipped", but there was nearly nothing (nor the cup and spoon, only paper one and nothing more). You can use shared kitchen, but it was not sufficient as well. We couldn't use washing machine. No mountain view.

Great hosta with a big garden. Rooms are big and each has a terrace and small kitchen utilities. Also there a bigger outdoor kitchen with grill. Locactio is also good, close to the main road.

The following points are just our personal opinions (minor inconvinient) that we would like to share. It does not affect our overall experience (which was positive): - The main problem was the lighting, very dark inside the living room during the day, even with curtain fully open. - We lost partial power the second night and have no hot water/internet. - The AC unit in the bedroom kept automatically turning off and on many times during the night, creating loud sudden noises.

The location is amazing. It is very close to many restaurants and not too far from La India dormida hike. The surrounding of the hostel is adorable, and the hammock is just excellent.

The kitchen could use some new pots and pans, more cutting boards, plates and cutlery.

Very comfortable beds with foam mattress toppers and new pillows. The outdoor area is beautiful and well maintained. My kids enjoyed interacting with the birds, turtles and fish. The rooms are spacious and the fridge, microwave and coffee machine were helpful. We loved the outdoor kitchen.

Entrance to bathroom only from bedroom, so if you travel with friends take it into account that if there is somebody sleeping in salon, must take shower perhaps first :-)

Everything was above my expectations! Free parking in front, lovely environment, sounds of nature, hammock on the terrace (in front of each room), big salon with nice sofa and kitchen area (and a possibility to make tea or coffee!), very lovey bedroom with efficient air-con, nice bathroom.

The living room makes no sence - huge but mostly empty, you can hear echo of your own voice there. If there do something with it, the accommodation would be amazing.

Accommodation is in a good location, has small but nice garden. There are hamacas in front of every room (just 4 rooms altogether). There is coffee maker in the room which is always good. Also fridge and microwave.

There was problems with the plumbing in the kitchen sink - which backed up and was stinky. As well, the front door stuck and could only open about 18" before jamming on the floor. Only one chair/barstool to sit in at the breakfast bar.

It was nice to have a bedroom and separate LR/Kitchen. The quiet neighborhood and all the greenery around the property make it so very relaxing and tranquil - especially the exotic birds. We wished we had more time to relax and enjoy the grounds.

Put a few simple kitchen things in each room like a couple of cups and plates and it will be perfect.

A huge plus point is the location, just a short walk from the greatest concentration of facilities along the El Valle main road. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff are charming. In particular, I had quite a lot of dealings with Oriel and he was extremely friendly and helpful, at one point spending a couple of hours fixing a problem I had accidentally created. I want to spend a bit more time in El Valle so I will be definitiely be going back to stay here again.

The layout seemed strange. One large empty room with a kitchenette in one corner and a small bed in the other. This bed was uncomfortable, very worn out. And you have to go to the toilet through another (small) room with a double bed. Since it is not our first day in Panama and we can compare the amenities and the price with other places, our conclusion is that the price is too high. It is also strange that a cage with parrots is kept in the yard, when there are so many birds flying around. You can't help but wonder how those parrots must feel...

Overall the place is good, quiet, not far from the main street, the hostess is nice. Birds chirping is pleasant in the morning. Good price for laundry.

Quiet and Peaceful, situated just off the Avenida Central in a pretty garden setting. Only 4 cabanas so very private. A good space with a living space as well as bedroom and bathroom. Great communal kitchen area. Nice attention to detail. Really helpful staff.

Location good. Very clean and comfortable. Although it is a hostal every room has a microwave, little fridge, coffee maker and kitchen basin and TV. Clean linnen and towels.
