Very cool layout, good hostel vibes, very close to the beach, room was super clean+comfortable+functional, shower was nice and warm!! Breakfast in the morning is so good. Beach itself is really good for bars and meeting other people. Veronica is so lovely and made us feel super welcome (shoutout to Swell the dog too). Aircon is fabulous.

The shared bathroom could have been better maintained. A bit expensive in terms of value for money (we were in rooms with shared bathroom)

We stayed three nights at Wao Jungle and we had a great time. We stayed in a small air-conditioned room with a shared bathroom, which overall was very good. The place is very clean and beautiful. But what we liked most was the attitude of the reception staff, especially Miguel, who took care of everything we needed and did everything to make our vacation perfect! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing Breakfast, the design of the rooms was perfect for a getaway in Venao. Way better being a little bit out of the party infested beach. the best of both worlds the peacefulness of Venao but at a walking distance from the party!! amazing spot for surfers! great surfracks! also they had very cool firepits!

After hours is hard to find stores around Venao, come prepare for late night munchies.

The place is in the heart of Playa Venao yet very private. A lush space full of green nature. Staff at the front desk was very kind and offered a lot of information about activities.

The reason they get a 10 is the way they professionally handled a problem with disruptive guests. Stay at the residence area for peace and quality; great for family. Stay at the hostal part for more noise and younger partiers aka not for family.

Leaving

This place offers cosy rooms close to the beach. The small town and beach of Playa Venao are very picture perfect. The hotel has a restaurant that offers a good breakfast and absolutely delicious meals in the evening thanks to Juan (chef). Gabriel at the front desk goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He helped us out a lot and made sure we had everything we needed. He is the absolute best! He even made sure that the hiccup we encountered when we tried to book a tour through the AMF website was sorted out. Thank you, Gabriel.

This is not a dislike but a suggestion. As mentioned Gabriel was extremely helpful and kind. However, for his benefit, we think he could be supported by another staff member as he was working alone in moments. This would be especially important if he was to face a challenging situation.

We liked the attention of the employees to help with our needs, especially Gabriel who was very attentive in providing us with information throughout our stay. He also went above and beyond to provide support during a difficult situation. Gabriel was also excellent at providing translations in both English and Spanish. The room itself was clean, and the bed/pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable and the chef's very friendly.

By foot it was a bit far away from the beach. Not ideal to walk there

I liked the fact this is a full apartment with a kitchen and terrace in the back, so you have the independence of cooking for yourself and go outside with your pet which loved exploring around! The staff (Gabriel) was very polite, respectful and handy whenever I needed anything.

The draining sink of the bathroom looks a little old and rush, has and dirty appearance, but works very good. The hot water on the tub was not work properly.
