We wished we stayed longer! The property was amazing, the pool was pristine, the owners were so kind! No detail was overlooked. The shower was amazing and the bed was comfy! We loved our time here!

This turned out to be a great layover for morning drive to Boquete to go birding for a week. What I did not expect was the excellent birding I discovered right in the simi rural setting the next morning. I saw about 45 birds right in the neighborhood. The owner/host was friendly and very helpful. Very nice place to stay!

There is a central mini refrigerator offering drinks at a fair price. A small refrigerator in each room would better allow for keeping food fresh and saving leftovers. PedidosYa delivers to the hotel, which is great. A mini refrigerator would have allowed us to order food every other day instead of daily.

Very friendly owner and staff. Great conversations each morning in the breakfast area. The morning breakfast is offered at a bargain price. Well appointed room and quiet, secluded, secure grounds.

This is more of a note for other travelers than a complaint. This is a small operation, so I couldn’t find anybody to help me around 9:30pm once everyone was asleep. I ended up borrowing some blankets from a linen closet I found in the lobby (Sorry!) so just make sure you are completely settled during the day.

I loved talking with the owner, who met me and showed me directly to my room. Each room is a homage to a different province in Panamà. She was super helpful also with helping me find local artisans to buy gifts from. Finally, the garden over the pool and the surrounding neighborhood along the river are beautiful and full of birds to observe. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

I loved everything!

This hotel is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Just off the interamerican highway but very seckuded and quiet. This area is not exactly extraordinary - mostly shopping and transportaion near the Costa Rica border; but this hotel was much more than expected. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. The host was great and everyone tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This is not always doable when traveling with a two year old child. The continental breakfast was inexpensive and very good with homemade bread. I was very impressed with the setup of rooms for families.

We liked it all!

We liked the well-maintained building and grounds—lovely setting. Breakfast was very enjoyable—good coffee, delicious fruit and homemade bread, great omelette—and entertainment provided by hummingbirds and the tropical sounds of nature. Was a little oasis.

I can't think of anything I didn't like

Location was lovely and surprisingly peaceful as it is conveniently situated near major roads, neighborhoods and services. Grounds are beautiful! Owner/host lives on property and makes you feel right at home--he converses in multiple languages and prepares wonderful omlettes and french toast for breakfast! His small staff is friendly and helps keep this well run place sparkling clean. Hummingbirds abound! Dogs are friendly and entertaining pets! Room is adorable with the best shower in Panama!

This is hands down, one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Pascale knows what makes a good business and there is no detail missed. The reviews were so glowing of this place that I didn’t actually even believe it, but it still managed to surpass all expectations. A beautiful property that is immaculate, staffed by incredible kind and helpful people, and the finishes are exquisite. There is no other hotel in David that would even begin to compare- it is world class. We loved our stay.

A few neighborhood dogs bark at night but closing the windows and using sleep ambient music made them rarely audible.

Everything. The owners Pascal and Myra were absolutely amazing. The accomodations were the best we experienced on our trip. They even offer gated private parking, although not really needed as the area is secluded and safe. Must like dogs although the pups are super sweet and keep to themselves most of the time.

The bedrooms are large! My husband and I used the Darien room. It had a nice terrace and garden view. The shower was excellent! The host was very friendly and attentive. I requested for him to sit with us to tell us about his experience in Panama. He graciously spent time with us after breakfast. Truly an amazing stay.
