We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe paid $800+ for 3 nights and there were no towels in the room when we arrived, and the shower was not functioning ideally, although these problems were fixed fairly quickly. Some of the staff were a little slow to respond, generally ignoring you for 5-10 mins at time even though they're aware of your prescence. They didn't even have basic cocktails such as Pina Colada or Mojitos, and when I asked for 2 Tequila sunrises they only had enough Tequila for one, pretty shocking for the price to be honest..
Problems with the room were generally sorted quickly and efficiently. The room was generally clean and comfortable and the location on the beach was great.

United StatesThe Beach and the pool could be much better. The rooms had no fridge, the toilet keep flushing constantly. Some time water goes off during the day.
The breakfast was always very good. It was very easy and convenient to get from the hotel to any where in town and around the Island of Bocas del toro.

United StatesA little more variation in breakfast--for example, although scrambled eggs were very well done, could offer fried eggs or boiled eggs. Also, need to fill the fruit area more frequently, it was a little scattered at times. Lounge could use more light in the evening.
Staff was very kind and helpful. Pool, although a little shallow, was large and a nice temperature. Breakfast was plentiful and somewhat varied each day. Manager Jennifer was very responsive and helpful.

Costa RicaThe staff is not helpful at all. In the first day, they tell us about the daily Happy Hour from, 5 to 9PM, same information available in the menu and also in a poster in front of the indoor restaurant, but for our surprise in the second day, the staff inform us that the Happy Hour is only from 5 to 7PM. Our friends, that are travelling with us, ordered their drinks and we left a little bit on the room before go down to take our drinks, are suprised with the new information. We ask if someone in charge is available, but the front desk was not helpfull at all. In the end, the staff don't offer a compensation for the misinformation and throw to the trash the drinks ordered, instead of offer to us a compensation for the confusion. We had another problem with the restaurant staff, once we ordered food at the pool, the attendent write down the order, but bring us the wrong plates, and we one more time, have a bad experience. The person on the front desk at night is totally useless, every time that we ask something, the person take the phone, go to the office and never provide us an accuracy information or a problem resolution. Another point is regarding the pillows that are too high and the hotel doesn't offer other option, make you adapt yourself for it, so if you planing visit this hotel and have issues with high pillows, bring your own.
The location is nice, the structure is good as well and the fact that you can swimming on the beach just a few steps of you room is amazing. The room size is good as the beds also. Cleanliness are good.

United KingdomThe pool was not clear but they did clean it everyday. In wifi did not work in the room but was good elsewhere. There was no shuttle as advertised but the receptionist called a taxi ($2 each into town). The extra costs to service the room which was not on the total advertised was a extortionate - 30% extra. The towels did not need changing everyday. The rest of the stay was great but this made it not good value.
Really comfy beds, lovely location with beautiful views. Different breakfast everyday.
