This is an outstanding small hotel with incredible views of the mountains, beautifully decorated rooms, well equipped small kitchen, and very helpful owners. We loved it!

Rather expensive for an apartment in comparison to the rest of Panama, but there are few other convenient options. The only little thing we would prefer differently is that there’s no dining table neither in the living room nor on the terrace (just two low couch tables).

Amazing view, remote and calm location in the middle of nature, aesthetics and design of the house and furniture, very friendly, approachable and helpful hosts, comfortable bed, terrace, illuminated and surveiled property - we felt very safe. In order to have this remote and calm location, you should be aware of the bumpy and sometimes quite foggy road with people walking on the road at any time. We did it with a regular rental car and it was okay, but we would recommend to do the first ride at daylight.

We love Risco de Hugo!! Feels like a home away from home. Everything was perfect. The location is absolutely beautiful and a short drive to Boquete. Love staying here every time.

The road to Boquete Town is a bit narrow

Everything! The location, the view with its ever-changing cloud formations, the place itself, the interior design - you can really see the love and passion that went into creating this unique place! We absolutely loved it and our stay! In addition to that, you can expect the best hosts, ever!

We loved HUGO!! And we loved the location. Perfectly situated 10 minutes out of town in the beautiful Volcancito area of Boquete. The accommodations were lovely and perfectly appointed. The owners really care about your comfort and went above and beyond for us. Thank you! Oh and the shower was awesome. Perfect pressure and the water was nice and hot.

Location and friendly and attentive care from the hosts. Very quiet place, but only 10-15 minutes drive from Boquete. 5 minutes walk to coffee farm.

the floor was dusty. I know the space has been used the best way possible and it works. Suggestion: it would be good to include a microwave and a small closet to hang up some clothes, or at least some sort of hook. And TV.

It's beautiful, really nice, modern, excellent view and a good location. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back. We shared the pictures to come with a group of friends next time. The white and black decoration looks great, clean, good taste.

Since is deep in the mountain is hard to get too because of the damaged road, but that's a problem with Boquete not the place.

The facilities are amazing, they go really well with the ambient and location. Pretty cozy and great place to stay. The colors and decorations they choose are well put together. Feels like a Pinterest cabbin and that's a good thing. A suggestion for the future, would be having a fire pit outside like the ones that are dug in the ground. Kind of similar to the one they have in "Selina Boquete". That would be a nice cherry on the top.

Our stay at Risco de Hugo was our favourite accommodation during our entire one month visit to Central America! The cabins are beautiful, brand new, and had so much attention to detail. We love to cook when we’re away and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The views of the mountains from the cabin and the front deck are incredible! The owners are so welcoming, friendly, and were happy to accommodate any and all of our requests. The location was quiet and perfect for a relaxing week away, while still having a coffee shop (farm) less than 1km away for our morning coffee. If we’re fortunate enough to come back to Panama again, we will 100% be reaching out to Risco de Hugo to stay here, and I will absolutely be recommending it to any friends planning to visit the area!
