Only thing that is not in Riu fault is that beach has horse renting which makes the beach dirty and not really amazing.

Excellent personal, the animation team is amazing. Specialty restaurant are excellent and buffet is very good. Drinks are right enough. Room is housekeeping personal are great.

The staff was not as helpful as one would expect. Also, the transportation was pretty expensive. We needed to go out to the main road, which is about 3km away from the hotel. They wanted to charge us $5 per person for a 2 minute ride. As an example, we traveled from the main road to Panama city and we paid $6 per person for a 2 hour trip. In that sense the hotel and the hotel staff were not helpfu at all.

The other guests...lol... not all of course. There are reviews of people saying the place isn't safe and staff not friendly! Really??? They put up with a slew of drunk visitors peeing in the pool (the line up at pool bar considerably longer than the banos), referring to lack of English being spoken ( same type that can understand people coming to their country with zero English), or that staff might steal from their largely tip zero coffers. Staff goes through a check every night when leaving property complete with bag checks and metal detectors. I have been coming to panama for years, have residency, and never had a security issue. They put up with my poor spanish and appreciate the attempts. These are great loving family people doing a tough job. It's not always possible to have limitless smiles ( when tourists are home at work, oh count the smiles on the way to accounting).... but they come close. Is the resort a 5 star. Maybe not but excellent value for money. It's not a 2 star either. Wonder how often a guest actually tries to have conversation with a staff about something other than fridge stock...etc. Best of luck RIU! Build your brand.

Panama weather is predictable. Warm sunny days with afternoon cooling clouds or shower. None this time of year. Panama is more relaxed than other island get aways and safer than Mexico. Staff were great.

In some places hotel requires small touches, but that's not critical. Basically not much to write here as we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

We enjoyed our week stay in RIU. The room was good and very clean, ocean view is stunning. All the territory was clean and well maintained, good variety of food in the buffet. Especially want to highlight the pools and all the animation, the staff is doing their best to entertain the audience. I have never seen kayak racing in the infinity pool and this was very fun.

My family enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The staff members were remarkably professional and kind (special thanks to Mr. José, who helped us on our arrival, and the restaurant staff members, especially Vianca and Capitana Ginny!!). Our room was big and had a great view. The room and the other hotel areas were always super clean. The musical show was extraordinary, with a different theme every night. The sound, coreography, variety, and skills of the dancers were fabulous. Congratulations to Arturo, Earl, and all the other dancers...They are world class!! The live music was also great! Of all food, I specially loved the ramen in the Asian restaurant. We really had fun. Thanks to all the Riu Family!!

Missing : a kids club, beds way too small, our room could have been more clean when we arrived, but the cleaning ladies fixed everything at our request. Lack of personal hygienic items: Not enough soap.

The location was approximately 2 or 3 hours away from Tocumen Airport however it was worth the drive. The rooms aren't sound proof so it was difficult to sleep during the day and early at night as you heard all the noise of the hotel and the guests.

The hotel's main restaurant served an impressive variety of dishes worldwide, and I could indulge in a diverse culinary journey throughout my stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. What made it truly special was the option to dine at their à la carte restaurants, where I could savor gourmet meals at no additional cost.

The AC in the gym was not on early in the morning, which made it very stuffy and super hot. It would be nice if a reasonable dress code was required, especially at breakfast buffet — barely covered g-strings and bathing suits are not appropriate attire in a dining area (and I’m not even that uptight!). No great options for toiletries. Laundry service is expensive. Bed was a little firm for my preference.

All-inclusive was great! Pools were clean, staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, and very hard working. Property is well taken care of Lots of fun activities available and many people seemed to enjoy the evening entertainment.

When we were leaving the night, the staff was absolutely rude, we were missing a key card, and he demanded payment for it in an obnoxious manner. We waited long for our rooms but wasn't as upset😡 as when we were checking out, they never mentioned that key cards must be returned or payment would be required.

The staff member that did our final checkout was a little rude and not pleasant at all. The beach water was dirty which was sad because I was looking forward to going to the beach. The bathroom extraction fan in my room did not work so the bathroom had a constant bad smell.

The food selection was very good, the property was good also. My family really enjoyed the beach volleyball as well as playing pool in the sports bar. The check in staff was very friendly along with the staff that processed our late checkout.
