Best Hotel by far in Panama City! Some minor issues but at the end a huge upgrade for the hospitality landscape in Panama! The Rooms are fantastic!

Everything about this place is exceptional, from the rooms to the food, to the staff. The spa is the nicest I’ve ever been to while traveling, and the gym has plenty of great equipment.

When you arrive at the Sofitel Legend you have the feeling to enter a different century. The elegant colonial style of the hotel , the styling of the staff, the atmosphere on the wonderful terrace. The rooms are just simply amazing, as I work from there I could enjoy the spacious desk and also have my meetings there. The view, the sunrise, I am an early bird, amazing. As the place just opened, you will always see the GM David, walking around, checking if all is fine. The breakfast is very special, if you order a special breakfast you should really be hungry. But really worth it. Well done!

Great food. Good quality cuisine. The service was good if not exceptional due to being just recently opened. Need to go down the learning curve. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommended if you stay in Casco Antiguo. Not cheap but you won't find better value for money in that neighborhood

The property is still newly opened and it’s clear they’re working out some kinks. We had a long delay getting services (ice, water) from the staff (without the option to get it for ourselves). Maybe because of staffing issues? Also, there weren’t any hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

I loved the pool, it was simply gorgeous and the pool service was great.

I accidentally did not put the door tag on the door and did not know that you needed to put it on the door for housekeeping. I think the front desk should inform guests that there is a door tag that says to please clean the room. Took me awhile to get used to the light switches. It's also weird that the bathroom lights aren't connected to the main lights so when you leave you have to go to the bathroom to turn put the lights and then turn out the main lights. Not a big deal.

The hotel is gorgeous. The staff are very kind and helpful. The location was perfect for going to and from the convention center. It was the perfect stay. My spa treatments were fantastic, and the massage beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in my life. The room was very comfortable. I loved the size of it and that I had a sitting room, bar and balcony. Beautiful attention to detail. LOVED!

We've stayed at a six star resort (Taj Faliknuma) and we both agree this was better. We had the private balcony on the sixth floor--which we'd recommend. Staff was always there but not intrusive. Facililty was fantastic. Location was also excellent. Shout out to Raul at the pool. He offered exceptional service.

The only suggestions that we have is that, this hotel can definitely improve the efficiency in their services. Maybe by adding more staff members, since sometimes when we needed assistance, we didn’t get an answer on the phone right away. We once asked for a toothbrush; it took them hours to get it and I had to go to the lobby for them to notice. I also noticed some processes were a little slow. The Wi-Fi is also kinda slow in some areas. As for the room everything was perfect but, I wished we had the chance to control the temperature of the AC since it was automatic and sometimes the halls of the hotel were so cold but when you entered to your room it felt hot/warm. But overall, the staff and workers here are amazing and we would definitely go back someday.

Hands down one of the best hotels to stay in Panama at the moment. The view to the city and Casco Viejo is amazing and there is exceptional hospitality from the staffs. Plus, the hotel interior is very nice with some antique hints but it feels very luxurious and modern. I went with my girlfriend for Valentine’s day and the moment we stepped into the building we were warmly welcomed by Alfredo, which also offered us some drinks and was there to assist us at all times. By the time we checked into our room, we were encountered with decor and flowers that I have asked to set up to suprise my girlfriend. My girlfriend was very pleased with this suprise and it was all thanks to the concierge Pedro Garcia that was there during the whole proccess and organized everything with me to make this possible. There was a little inconvenience though, I booked the room here through Booking.com and amongst the details of the room it said that the room came with a bathtub, however, when we arrived it only had a shower. We reported this issue to the hotel staff members and immediately received assistance. The supervisor Edwin Quiel quickly offered us another room which met our needs at no charge and solved the issue with such professionalism. He was also very kind (I checked back and the misinformation was corrected). For dinner we decided to go try Caleta and the food and presentation was amazing! There was a special menu for Valentine’s day. Alex, the waiter was very kind and informative. Service and ambience in this restaurant was definitely a 10/10. During our stay we also had the opportunity to go to the spa, which had amazing service that felt very personalized and special.

I did not care for my room location, it was more of a basement water view. Not what I imagines. I learned from this experience next time to be more specific when asking for ocean view. I choosed the patio to have breakfast and it took over an hour to get an avocado toast with salmon, hard boil eggs, chia bowl, croisant and coffee. After 30 min of not getting anything, my husband talked to the hostess and we were given Coffee and the croisant. My husband left to his appointment, I continued to wait and took breakfast to the room as I had other commitments. I was not charged for breakfast at check-out for the inconvinienced. But, learned that Inside the service was faster. If the problem is wait staff or cooks, this is something easy to fix.
