The staff are exceptionally nice, and the owner is a really lovely man, who makes a wicked Margarita! The pool is a really lovely spot to relax and the ocean is a stone’s throw away. The bed was really comfy and the room was perfect for what we needed.

The Taboga Palaca is a small owner-managed hotel from the nice Dave! In the evening he prepares delicious cocktails (try the margarita). He knows everything about the island and has valuable tips for you. From the pool you overlook the bay and see the ships waiting for the canal. We look forward to our next visit, thanks Dave!

I don't know if there were facemask available. I didn't ask and i had my own if i wanted to use it. I believe it is not required anymore to use a mask. The owner and help was more than what I specked. A very nice and friendly people at the hotel. The whole experience in the beautiful island was extraordinary.

We combed through a lot of reviews before deciding to stay at the Taboga Palace, and I am so happy with the decision we made. From the moment we stepped off the ferry and into the hotel, we felt welcomed and at home. The owner, Dave, is an incredible host- we felt like family. He's cheery and kind, helped us up to our room, and even snagged us a room upgrade with an incredible view over the pool and looking out into the bay. (He also makes a mean margarita!). We woke up every morning feeling like we were in paradise. Our room was a great size, with a comfy bed, huge bathroom, and air conditioning. Our room also had a great balcony, which we enjoyed sitting on to watch the sun go down and relax after a day at the beach. Things were clean, with lovely little touches, like the snacks that were provided, towels for the gorgeous reflecting pool, and a rack on the balcony to dry our swim suits. The hotel was very peaceful, and I cannot stress how amazing the views were of the beach and bay. We hope to be back!

The queen size bed was not a queen size bed but two twin size bed joined with nothing so beds are easily separated along the night. I felt really unconfortable sleeping in this kind of beds.

Amazing owner, full of kindness. Great AC and clean with great location. BEST PLACE on the island to spend a night or MORE!! Great attention to detail with robes, tea kettle and biscuits in room and drying rack for wet ocean gear.

The view from the room was lovely, particularly the sunrises. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I wish there were more eating options and a heads up on things to do on the island. There is nothing to complain about with our accommodations.

Drinks at the bar were delicious. The room was beautiful the pool amazing and the staff wonderful. Everything we could ask for from a getaway. Wish we stayed longer.

This small and intimate hotel is just off the dock. Great location. The infinity pool on the third floor offers a fantastic view of the beaches and beyond. The rooms were decorated nicely. Dave, the British owner, and Maria were on hand to welcome us and were so accommodating and kind. We will definitely go back.

Some might complain about lack of restaurant in the building, but actually there are many places to eat around (50m away), so no problem to find a meal Only small minus for price, as it's over average compared to neighbouring Panama City. But i guess still worth it for the experience

Best address to stay during trip to Taboga. The atmosphere of the place is special. That's thanks to great location, facing the sea, and great effort by the owner, who's super friendly and helpful. Loved the evening on terrace over the pool, with great sea view, and a drink
