Bit far from "downtown", if you do not have a car, I don´t think it´s a great option, if you do, there´s no better option than this!

The mini fridge near our room was not adjustable and froze everything inside it.

Very friendly hosts, very nice place for relaxing, very quiet with a lot of flowers in the garden. I enjoyed sitting in a shade watching and listening to the birds and wind in the bushes.

I had ants in my bed and people who were checking in late were noisy (not owners fault).

The location is absolutely stunning! The garden is so tranquil and relaxing. Also, very nice area to go for a walk amongst the nature.

Look for a sign on the tree to find it. Our room only had a small window but hey, who needs a window if you have a whole garden...

Very nice little resort with a beautiful garden and several spots to sit and enjoy. The room offers all you need and an amazing shower. Coffee and water available. Super nice hosts who gave us all the important infos and were very welcoming. Parking on the street, very quiet and safe. We can highly recommend.

It was a little bit further from restaurants than I would have liked, but still accessible to the main street where there are many restaurants.

Do understand that this is still a small town with a village-y feel. You won't find any 4 or 5 star accommodation here. Both pillows were large and overstuffed; the height made my neck was a little sore. Having two pillows of different sizes would be a nice touch. The Wi-Fi didn't really work. The signal was weak everywhere, and when it rained, there was no signal. It is a bit far from the town - about a 20minute walk to the town center - the main road lined with markets and restaurants. If you plan to hike La India Dormida before sunrise, you will have a difficult time finding a taxi willing to take you there at 4am to avoid the extra hour you will have to walk from this hotel to the trailhead.

The grounds are beautiful, tropical, lush, and serene. The owners are extremely nice and went out of their way to help me more than once. I found out their parents actually own the other accommodation I was considering. I had a room in the first cottage. The outside door opens to a common hall with a coffee maker, mini fridge, and water dispenser. At the end of the hall are two bedrooms with bathrooms side-by-side with separate entry doors. The second night of my stay, a woman and her toddler stayed next door. They were extremely quiet and considerate neighbors, but I could hear their conversation through the thin wall when they were awake. The room had everything I needed, though it was a bit smaller than I had expected. It is great for one person, and would be ok for two. Large bed, slightly lumpy, but softer than most beds in Central America. A small couch and end tables furnished the room. The window overlooked a side yard. The bathroom shower and sink had hot water, nice water pressure. Each room had its own water heater tank. The A/C worked like champ. An outdoor table and chairs were set up on a patio just in front of the cottage, and the patio area/lobby in front of the main house was warm and inviting. Often, a guest would be gently swaying in the hammock. I did not spend time outside because it was hot and I'm a magnet for mosquitos - with or without a repellant bath. I did not eat breakfast here because I was out exploring early in the mornings. I don't remember what was on offer.

Alejandro and his family were so kind and helpful, lots of advice on where to go, restaurants etc. If you have time you must have a massage from Alejandro or his wife…just fabulous!

A little adjustment should be made in the bed, it was making a funny sound.

It is surrounded by nature and it is so nice. The private cabin is a nice place to stay with your partner. Big room and amazing bed. The bathroom is big enough for two people to stay inside.

The host is lovely, our flight was significantly delayed but they still woke up on the middle of the night way after the check in hours to recieve us! This is a really beautiful house with a lovely garden and nice location in the valle. Would definitely recommend!

Not a complaint....but, I arrived to a locked gate,, I was lucky, a girl ( staff person) was there, I yelled and got her attention, she was new, and knew very little, so "we" figured things out, the owner showed up at bit later and was all great...

nice place, quiet, off the main road, I had a car...so I could drive to town, otherwise is a taxi or a hike. great value. Lots of outdoor seating area to relax....

we did run the hot water out one morning but I tend to take long showers and it hadn’t occurred to me that I didn’t leave much hot water for my husband- sorry sweetie.

This accommodation is in the most beautiful, peaceful garden full of flowers and birds I have ever seen. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the garden. The staff was friendly and the owner lovely. The bathroom was large and spotless.

We've stayed in dozens of places in multiple countries. I loved how cozy this place was. It was only a 2 minute drive from town but, it was far enough away we never once heard trucks or busses zooming by while on the property. The staff were also extremely helpful when my wife lost her phone in town and made calls to help us find it.
