Cozy place, the rooms next to the river are the best. The hotel is a little bit small, but it feels like home. And the location is the best, just in the middle of El Valle main street.

Everything was good! Nothing bad. Just a suggestion, they need to enlarge the parking lot a little bit so that all cars could better fit in.

Unfortunately you could hear the music and people from the bar nearby. That was not ideal for our peaceful getaway. Also the breakfast was not very good- I would not recommend it. It would also be helpful if one of the staff spoke English to help with communication, we were hoping to get local tips but were unable to.

Lovely garden and room! Location was also great, far away enough from the busyness of the main street, but close enough to watch to everything which was nice. Pool was a bonus and the view of the mountains as well.

Maybe it’s because our Spanish is not great, but there wasn’t a great deal of info available. Would have expected some info on local walks, restaurants and what are the best places for food (buying and eating). However, if you pop over the road to Bodhi hostel, they have walking maps/routes and can even arrange transfers for you (which we did).

Great location and set up. We stayed in the separate house and had complete privacy. Sat on the balcony and saw hummingbirds, giant iguanas, squirrels, water birds and not forgetting ‘Flash’ the resident sloth. The garden is the perfect place to chill after a long days hiking.

Casa Grimaldi is central to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is great, and I have nothing bad to say about the place.

Casa Grimaldo is a hidden gem in valle anton, the rooms are tastefully designed and comfortable. After a long hike you can unwind in the pool or beautiful garden. We really recommend to order the breakfast, you order the night before and they serve it wherever you like (room, garden, pool, terrace). The staff is sweet and they try to make your stay as relaxed as possible!

Hard to find any fault. The water wasn’t very hot but most people only want a cool or warm shower in this weather.
