Loved the colonial style of the hotel and the layout. Excellent location in the San Blas quarter of Cusco. Great to have a covered verandah with comfortable seating to enjoy the views of Cusco. The room we had was dual aspect so plenty of natural light. Shower was excellent! Breakfasts were generous with eggs cooked to order. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Most helpfully there was a laundry next door!

Loved the look and design of the hotel, extremely comfortable beds. We loved the breakfast plus the complimentary teas which helped with altitude. The breakfast was also lovely and fresh. We liked the takeaway breakfast option Very helpful and friendly staff

I liked everything!

It is very close to the Plaza de Armes and it felt very safe to walk home at night. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. There is free tea/coffee/filtered water off the lobby. The garden was beautiful and there were great views of the city. The buffet breakfast, included in the price, was very good and plentiful.

Perfect BnB to stay in before and after our Inca trail trek. The showers were incredible and especially needed afterwards! Staff were always friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with a view of the sunrise over the mountains. A lovely balance of luxury and local, rustic charm. Hot drinks available at all times, stored our luggage whilst we were gone and had it ready in our room when we returned - a very welcome surprise for our tired legs!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amaru Colonial. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were invited to wait in the lounge/sitting room where we were able to enjoy complimentary coca or muna tea, which was very welcome after a long day of travel and starting to acclimate to the altitude. They also have filtered water available, which was great to fill up our water bottles before exploring Cusco. Our room was very comfortable and private. There is a heater in the room that could be used in the evening and overnight, but it was warm enough that we didn't need it. The blankets on the bed was enough for us. The location of Amaru Colonial can't be beat. It is in the heart of the San Blas district and no more than a 10 min walk from the main square. We were able to wander around old town Cusco and never be more than 10-15 min away from the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

We were lucky enough to spend a week at Amaru Colonial. Besides the location, decore and breakfast The staff were fantastic. Always willing to please .to the breakfast staff Belinda, Rita and Melissa. Thankyou for the delicious and fresh and cooked food. A special thanks to Brisayda , Carlos, Gilbert and Yulder who were so helpful and kind when our 8 year old was unwell. I hope to return here again one day.

Friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us. Delicious breakfast, clean spaces and peaceful lobby/seating areas. The open areas with plantings and decor were beautiful. Luggage storage was great. Walking distance to many areas of Cusco.

Best place that I stayed during my 3 weeks of vacation in Peru. Great breakfast and a beautiful courtyard. Free coffee and coca tea. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Great location close to the center of Cusco.

Rooms were on the small side, but the that was fine for the price.

Location in San Blas was great. Walking distance to main square and tons of shops and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and well run. Staff seemed professional and breakfast was delicious. Good value too.

If it’s the first night at Cusco while adjusting your high altitude sickness might not be the good choice as you have to keep climbing up and down from the stairs

It’s a really cute property, and the staffs are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is also very good too! The entire property is just so comfortable! Strongly recommended

The heating goes off during the day, so it was a bit chilly at times. Everything else was just great.
