Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This place was beyond my wildest dreams. So so so good. It makes you feel so peaceful! The interiors, the garden, the food, the fire under the stars, all amazing. It felt like staying in paradise. The bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. I wish I could have stayed at least a week.

SpainThe dinner menu can be a little limited if you're planning a longer stay, but each item we had was lovely. If you're feeling like a change of scenery for lunch or dinner, check out La 58 restobar nearby for some delicious, affordable Peruvian sushi.
Our stay at Andenia was absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating our engagement and the staff took special care of us, and were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was even having some issues with insomnia, and they were considerate enough to coordinate an appointment with the nearby hospital. The property is absolutely gorgeous and bungalow rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff brings by hot bottles for the bed each night, will set up the fireplace on request, and food from the restaurant can be ordered directly to the room via Whatsapp. There is also an on property laundry service for those who are doing extended traveling. You are just 10 minutes from Urubamba and can coordinate cab services (though we recommend taking the colectivo shared vans, which are incredibly cheap and efficient). Be sure to take full advantage of the amazing hikes in every direction - when you return, the recently installed pool and hot tub are lovely for an early evening, post-hike hot/cold dip.

LatviaWe loved everything.
Everything about this place is perfect. Located in a beautiful mountain view valley with a fantastic fruit garden, this place is a perfect getaway location to spend some quiet and relaxing time. Supervisor Karel was the nicest person we met in Peru, she did a superb job helping and assisting us. The beds were one of the most comfortable ones we have ever slept in. The hotel has a fantastic design which makes the stay so much more enjoyable.

SlovakiaEverything was absolutely amazing! Thanks again for this outstanding experience!
We have simply fallen in love with all Andenia has to offer. Although just a quick 2-night retreat stay in the calm environment of the Sacred Valley, we have felt that the address of Andenia is an exceptional one from the moment of crossing the gate into the astonishing garden, which the hotel is a part of (not the other way round). The location with the views on the mountains and the garden with all kind of flowers and fruit trees is, however, just a setting. The real gem are the people serving you (Camilla and all her utmost friendly and hospitable team), who make you feel like the most valued guest ever. And this comment comes from a very frequent traveller, able to compare hotel services around the world. The whole amazing picture is rounded up by the stylishly presented and extraordinarily delicious cuisine.

SpainNothing. Absolutely wonderful.
Hotel Andenia was an experience out of a fairytale. The resort is located in the sacred valley about 20 minutes outside of Urubamba and serves as a great access point for tours to Machu Picchu. First and foremost, the service was top notch. Camila and other staff were extremely attentive to our needs and were only a quick Whatsapp message away for whatever we needed (big advantage of a boutique hotel). They all spoke wonderful english and even served breakfast and dinner to our room without additional service fee when I was struggling to adapt to the altitude. Camila also seamlessly set up transport to Cusco and Urubamba as well as several massages right to our room with little notice. The food was also wonderful. I have attached some pictures below but the included breakfast was excellent as were all of the dishes. I could have easily eaten every meal there for several days and had no regrets. Very affordable too I might add. The room was well decorated and extremely clean. It had a rainfall shower which was a particularly nice touch. They also provided (and regularly refilled) drinking water in the room. Bed was comfortable and wifi was excellent, even for streaming videos. Lastly, the grounds were beautiful and wonderfully kept. This is actually something we were pleasantly surprised about as the pictures don't do it justice. On the property there are hundreds of different flowers, plentiful trickling streams, and hammocks and day beds that we really enjoyed exploring. Additionally, there are tons of fruit trees all over the property that you are welcome to eat. If you can't tell by now, could not recommend it more. Also, we are from the US, not sure why it is listed as Spain.
