Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaEverything from the corridors echos, so it’s loud. You can also hear other rooms clearly. Little difficult to find. Beds are a little hard. Good for one night stay.
Good place to stay for one night, staff are very friendly and helpful, in a good location and nice breakfast. Let me store my bags for the day while I went to Machu Picchu.

GermanyThe Single bed room is very small and no window. Better to pay more money to make your stay comfortable. The hotel kindly offered a pick up service at Machu Picchu station for free of charge to hotel guests. But we are not able to meet them since there is no specifi exits at this station. Travellers scattered in every directions and you do not know which direction to go as Google map did not work properly. You really make sure the meeting point for the smooth transfer.
The location is close to the Machu Picchu Station but was difficult to find. The noise outside is moderate. The single room was very tiny but it was very clean. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast starts earlier than 06h00am in order for traveller to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu.

United Kingdomfirst I was put into a single room with. o window, most of the rooms have no windows or natural light. the ‘city view’ was a wall about 3 meters away there was confusion about the time to get me from the train which was bad as I had terrible altitude sickness so took me one and a half hours to find a hotel 400meters from the station, google maps does not work and there are two hotels by the same no bath tub as stated in room facilities, as many of the other things they say are in the room
the owner and his son are fantastic and are able to achieve anything. the bed was very comfortable very good hot water and pressure.

United StatesThe rooms are smaller compared to other hotels, but that might be the case in most hotels in aguas calientes.
Andino Machu Picchu was a great choice. Its quite close to all the main attractions in the Aguas Calientes area, short walk from the train station, market, bus stop to the citadel, restaurants etc. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good as well. Great value!

Quiet and nice little place, perfect for a night or 2 in Machu Picchu. The owner is really helpfull and nice, and the breakfast and coffee was good, when you compare with what you pay for your stay.

BrazilThe internet did not work in our room, also, the washer was not cold enough, and the breakfast has only one person to keep the things organize, to bring the food, the coffee, and to attend the reception. She was doing what she could do, bit it was impossible for herself alone. Then, there were no food, no coffee, and we have to wait. We were not satisfy with that.
