The location is excellent- walking distance to everywhere we wanted within Cisco yet quiet inside. Most comfortable bed we’ve slept in throughout South America.

My only complaint was the shower. Hot water on demand means low pressure even with the extra pump. Also, and this is beyond the control of the owner, there were parties just outside our window and noise from clubs that we heard until the wee hours.

Jose sent me a message saying I could check in at 12noon. I said I would be at 3pm. He gave me his WhatsApp and I called and messaged when I arrived with no response. A cleaning lady let me into the room but I had no key. She said Jose would come in 20-30mins but 2hrs later he still hasn’t arrived so she gave me her keys so I could leave the apartment for dinner and still be able to enter my room. I was going to bed as I had an early tour at 4.30am when I heard a knock on the door at 10pm from Jose asking for cash payment and to tell me they put me in the wrong room. The room I was supposed to be in still wasn’t ready so if I could pack all my stuff to move the next day but I was on an all day tour till 6.30pm. They had another booking for the room I was currently in but I didn’t feel comfortable with these people touching my things, plus I had bought a whole bunch of groceries for the fridge and spread my things out as I wanted to relax for my last 2 days of my trip. Jose said it was fine to stay in the room but was very passive aggressive when I told him via message the next morning that the hot water wasn’t working for the shower and the pressure was weak. He said he wasn’t going to fix it because I should have been in another room. In summary: - Left waiting 2hrs for key at check in (3pm) - Woke me 10pm to ask for cash payment - Asked me to move rooms even though the other room wasn’t ready - Wanted to touch my personal belongings without me being present - Refused to fix the hot water (Room 201) Note: - No shampoo, conditioner or body soap (BYO) - Location is up a steep hill and many stairs (difficult for old people) - Mini bus doesn’t fit down the road (hard access) - Opposite a school so on weekdays there is noise from children playing sports from 8am to 7pm

The location had a great view and the bed was very comfy

Great location,The room was beautiful and spacious,with a fully equipped kitchen (kitchen wares 、microwave 、coffee machine &kettle are all available ). Although the nights in Cusco are cold in July ,but the blanket and duvet in the room are super warm .The lady Yobana was very nice and helpful,let us keep our luggages for two days. We would like to stay in Anqas apartment again if we have the chance to back to Cusco!

we arrived at the property having booked for 5 nights across two bookings. the man who showed us our room insisted we pay cash right away despite not warning us via booking.com. he then tried to add on to our booking cost the commission amount he had to pay booking.com and said it was a tax. we contacted booking.com and they confirmed the lower amount was correct but the man said that unless we cancelled the second part of the booking and paid direct in cash we would have to leave. they said this was the only way we could remain at the property for the price we had booked for. we had no option as had a tour booked early the next day. it got worse … we told him that the kitchen light didn’t work and that the door lock was difficult. he said both would be fixed within the hour. we came back from dinner and the lock was loose and we couldn’t get the key in. my husband eventually managed it but the lock was beyond repair. we messaged the man and said it was not fixed and now completely broken. he said it would be fixed. it was not fixed for the remaining 3 nights we stayed here. we had to padlock our stuff and take all our valuables with us. he ignored all our messages asking what was happening. finally there was a terrible drain smell the whole time we were here. we had no one to raise it with as the man was ignoring us. this is one of those listings that looks too good to be true because it is!

it’s quite hard to find the place during the night as the apartment number is quite small. and gate is quite hard to open.

apartment is clean and bed is very comfortable, the lady especially salina is very friendly and approachable.

Location was great. Central but away from any noise. We stayed here 3 times for our back and forth visits to Cusco. Our host was lovely and let us keep our bags there while we were away in between stays which made things much easier. Hot water in shower was perfect, never went cold! Cooking stove and microwave available. Flat was lovely and light. Very relaxing stay. Thanks Jose!
