Unclear terms of payment. In the end we paid 10% more than was mentioned in my reservation. And the offensive part was that stuff had changed the terms on Booking and tried to convince me that terms were clear when I booked. I made a screenshot of my reservation earlier so I knew I was being scammed.

The room was better than I expected and the hotel territory was beautiful and peaceful. There are many animals and birds and fish living at the hotel so I spent one day just observing them from different spots. It was so nice that we decided to prolong our stay and skip our previous plan.

Wish there had been a simpler food option for during the day. Restaurant is excellent but a quicker grab and go menu would have been nice, especially for the kids. I was surprised that we couldn’t even buy snacks at the shops.

Way exceeded our expectations, and it’s an excellent value. Rooms were impeccable, large, and very comfortable. The property is very well kept up and beautifully landscaped, has great views, and a great place for families to explore. Nice gym and good breakfast were both really appreciated as well. Great peaceful location for exploring the sacred valley.

Beautiful location by the fast flowering river in the Center of the sacred valley. The hotel is set around and ancient hacienda with multiple courtyards, terraces and a museum and cinema. The gardens are perfection, the pool, lakes and island chapel all lovely. The spa is world class and the chef worthy of international recognition. And the staff……. In our experience Peruvians are the warmest and most welcoming of people and it seemed that the best of those traits were in abundance here.

It far exceeded our expectations. An oasis in the middle of the Sacred Valley. Our incredible driver Yury who showed us the local spots along the way for no extra charge. Then the spa was all fantastic and Yolanda at dinner was incredible. Loved it all

A bit out of the place, 20 min drive from Urubamba town, tough to get taxis. While cleaning in the rooms were immaculate, during my stay gym hadn’t be cleaned for over 3 days, with mud all over the place

it's actually a wonderfully equipped resort, and the price of 150 euros per night, for a gorgeous, huge room with a view of the river... is excellent! Wonderful park with lake with exotic plants The restaurant is a bit better, like the breakfast, the chef is very kind, local live music every evening... everyone tries to make you satisfied!tic fish, very rich and beautifully landscaped garden, Hacienda house... you have to stay more than 2 days like we did.....

The property was beautiful. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the river. Had small kit hen that included small under the counter refrigerator, dishes, microwave, teapot, etc.

The lighting in the rooms/ bathrooms are very dim.

Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.

Early ?2000s buildings are really showing their age, but still comfortable. Some rooms very musty.... The Inkaterra hotel nearby is much nicer (impeccable, true 5* luxury). Aranwa is only worth it if you can get a good discount on their standard room rates.

Beautiful setting with a modern complex surrounding a historic 17th century hacienda. Lush gardens with abundant bird life, even hummingbirds. Excellent service and delicious food.

This hotel is excellent! The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We had a blast at the pizza night and pisco sour classes. We're definitely coming back to Aranwa next time we're in Cuzco. Highly recommended!

Minimal sun loungers (4) so they are all taken rather quickly. The outdoor jacuzzi is cold until requested hot, we were told that would take 4h but even then it never really warmed. The pool is also absolutely freezing which is fine but a warmer outdoor option would be lovely.

The spa, breakfast, cinema and all service staff were excellent. Free bike hire at the hotel is a real nice touch with some great trails all around.
