Pool was much smaller than expected and only partially has sun on it. No pisco sours the 2 nights we were there. Most bar food good much pizza wasn’t good, especially for the price.

Comfortable and well equipped room and aircon was great bonus! Spacious and strong shower. Really good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and general nice atmosphere with good music in evenings. Best social vibe in the evening, of the hostels in the area.

The lockers are quite small and my padlock didn't fit through so had to carry valuables around.

Hostel has a nice vibe: welcoming social spaces and good music. They respect the quiet hours, which means you can still get a good sleep. I loved that the beds had curtains and several charging points. The bathrooms were clean with hot showers. The restaurant was really good and breakfast was a full continental buffet. The location is great, with access straight onto the dunes.

Nice pool surrounded by some deck chairs. Great variety on the breakfast buffet. Nice bathroom attached to the dorm. Dormbeds had curtains and beds were fixed (no wobbly bunk beds). Also the sandboarding + buggy tour offered by the hotel was great fun.

The bathroom was beautiful, bed was comfortable, had cabinets to lock your valuables in the room (need your own padlock) and there was aircon in the room. Walking out you looked on to the pool area which was nice. It played music until 10ish but then would be quieter in the evening. This is different to some other hostels in Huacachina where I know some people did not sleep well. Amazing location right on to the oasis and to walk up the dunes. Food and drinks were great.

No free water refill provided. The place seemed to champion sustainability but we end up having to buy plastic bottled water. Music until late - though it didn’t bother my partner and I as we slept through it :D

Nice room and comfy beds - exceeding expectation of a hostel. The whole place had a nice vibe, guests could chill by the pool or drink at the bar. Good breakfast and a free welcome drink at the bar. Great location with direct access to the promenade and oasis. Overall great value, highly recommend this place if you’re in Huacachina!

The room could be cleaner. The music during the day was a playlist of 5 songs which continuously repeated themselves.

Good location and a nice place to hangout. It was quit during the night which was very pleasant.

Staff that take your order for the restaurant a bit rude and unfriendly, not that social because sometimes you don’t know who is staying at the hostel or just coming to eat at the restaurant

It is annoying that you have to pay every time you want something in advance and can’t order at the table. The bar plays loud music but it is turned down at 11pm. So if you are getting up early a bit annoying.

We stayed two nights in the Banana. The room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of choice and plenty to eat. The food was also excellent, we ate both nights in the hotel as we had such good food. The swimming pool is small but not many people are they as they go out to the dunes. Also our dune trip with the hotel was amazing, we went down some crazy steep dunes. It’s also perfectly located with a view to the dunes and by the oasis lake.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. The hostel is right in the middle of Huacachina, facilities were great and the pool was lovely. Food excellent too, would highly recommend
