Not a negative for me but as an FYI to others, as it is family run, spaces like the kitchen and sitting room are shared. Great if you want to practice your Spanish!

Such a lovely hostel in a fantastic location in Barranco. The hostel is decorated very homely so this made my stay even more comfortable! The family who own the hostel is very welcoming and friendly. Hot water 24/7 in the showers. Nice breakfast included. Muchas gracias!

We had a room with bathroom. It was basic, but clean and with everything needed. The location is nice, just 10 min walk from the center of Barranco. The hosts are super friendly and nice :) thanks a lot!!

Just minor things, but nothing to be worried about. I was missing a few better options to unpack the backpack. Water pressure in the showers is a bit weak but it's personal preference. Nothing serious to complain! :)

Super friendly hosts, really feels like being part of a family. Good recommendations to move around Lima and facilities are okay as well. Nice breakfast is served and multiple bathrooms available. Location is good as well, in Barranco, close to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and public transport. Walking distance to the beach side which is a great spot for running!

The water heater sometimes turns off for a few seconds. Also the water in the neighbourhood was out for some time, however, since this is mandated by the water company, the hostel had no say in it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, the hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, so we got a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed.

I would highly recommend the Beraja hostel to everyone visiting Lima! As a couple, the room with private bathroom was perfect to relax in after a couple of long flights. The hostel has a quaint, lovely atmosphere and a very good breakfast, but best of all, a hospitable host to make your stay worthwhile!

Super super lovely place, the owner very helpful and attentive! I love the very homey vibe of this place, its small and sweet. Additionally u can use their kitchen! The owner makes you a very good breakfast as well 😻 such a shame there wasn't more people there when I arrived. Instead of going where everyone goes, to kokopeli, come here, u will surely get a more personalized treatment and family vibes ❤️

The room was relatively dark as it faced the kitchen area.

The hostel is quite small, which gives it more of a personal touch, and the hosts are so lovely! While I was there, it was very quiet, which I enjoyed a lot. The dorm had some shelves which I found extremely convenient -- most hostels lack a place where to put things... The location close to the edge between Barranco and Miraflores makes it a good place to start exploring both neighborhoods. I'd definitely come back!
