Not much stuff to do in the hostel itself, but it’s not like I went to Cusco to stay at a hostel.

The way the beds were set up allowed for a good amount of privacy. The showers and toilets being separate also makes it so the toilets aren’t blocked off while someone is washing. It is also close enough to the center of town to get there in a few minutes but not so close traffic is a bother. Also love the dog.

I've stayed here multiple times since 2017, and everytime I come, it always gets better. Clean, comfy, great staff and management. The kitchen has what you need and is kept clean. Wifi works great. I also stayed in one of the private rooms this trip, it's better than pretty any hotel room you can get in the area at a wicked price

The owner is the sweetest host I have ever met. The rooms/ facilities are clean and the location is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. You can get coffee and tea whenever you want. The dog is also an amazing cutie!!

Nothing negative about the stay - everything was amazing :)

The hostel is in a perfect location, close to the city centre and only a 10 minute walk from the San Blas neighbourhood. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfy and the dorm was always kept clean. The bathrooms were also kept clean and tidy and there was always hot water in the showers. The lounge area was super comfy and a great place to chill or play games. There is complimentary tea/coffee, cereal and bread in the kitchen which was great. The reception isn’t 24 hour but they give you a key to the property so you can get in at all hours. They also have a really lovely friendly dog :)

Finally I paid for a private room, but is it very dark with humidity. And the hot water is not always available in the shower.

Personnels are very nice, it is very quite during the day.

Amazing location, super close to the center and incredibly nice staff. They also arranged day tours for me and gave me advice on what to do. There is a German shepherd around who is soooo cute and friendly. The beds have an electricity plug and light in the "mini room".

The 2 showers in the hostel only one was hot enough.

Good location 10min walking to plaza de armas, comfortable bed and super nice staffs. There's a bus station (in front of marvelous cusco) 5min walking from the hostel to the airport for 1 sole (blue bus).

There's nothing really negative to add. I just would like to have spent more time as this hostel was far better than where we stayed on other parts of our trip.... I'm looking at you, Puerto Maldonado!!!!

The hostel is located very close to the main square and is an ideal base in Cusco, as well as being very convenient for trips departing from here, particularly as taxis can stop right outside and collect you if pre-ordered. The hostel itself is lovely, with common area walls decorated in flowers and large murals of the dog namesake which give it a really gentle and welcoming feel. Kitchen has all the essentials, including coffee, coca tea leaves and so on, which was very cool. In terms of vibe, this is a calming, relaxed place, and you can really feel it upon arriving, which is really welcome after several hard days trekking to Machu Picchu, for example!!! The owner's dog Shajor is really friendly too which I love as a dog person! I also thought the pod beds were really nice touch as they provide more privacy than the usual dorm setup, really cool that they include a power socket and interior light inside them too - lifesaver! Overall, it was just a great experience with excellent attention to detail. It really feels like the owner cares about giving a great experience to the guests, which we appreciated a lot. Will be back!

We decided to stay with blacky hostel even we were traveling as couple. It really exceeded our expectations. The room and bed were very private and comfortable. We really slept well and had our own time. It was clean and located in the city center. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Cusco!!
