How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No choices for breakfast, they didnt even serve tea; was coffee or coffee. No deca coffee neither.
Location amazing, staff friendly, room spacious, pool deck & service very nice.

We stayed in the 6th floor but there was this musty smell all around. Didn't get in the rooms but it was outside. I think it's the carpet, maybe they could clean it better.
The hotel is new so everything is looking quite nice. The location is the best feature. Close to the main places in Miraflores. They also have parking, which is very handy!

They have weird hotel policies in general. You have extras fees to pay if your towels get stained even if is very tiny. Due to covid they only clean rooms every two days.(?)

The room was very cold.
The bed was amazing.very comfortable and big! We were very tired when we arrived and it was a nice surprise the hotel is in very good place and the stuff were kind and friendly

I wish I didn't have to pay extra for guests.
I consumed the breakfast half the times during my stay because I usually had other plans. However, whenever I ate there, the food was great, well prepared and well delivered.

Great customer service, also they take precautions against covid. We got to hotel after midnight and we were starving. They were able to find someone to deliver food for us and we were able to go to bed with full tummies. Would recommend.

Bed was not very comfortable.
Super clean, pool was open and reservable. Our room was nicely decorated. The bed was small for two people and it wasn’t very comfortable. The room seemed huge. Had a small fridge and closet. Other than that we loved this place.

The receptionist were somewhat arrogant and helpless at the same time. At first, I though they speak English quite well until found out that they just know their fixed phrases. In this price segment I would expect the receptionist to speak English fluently. The light in the room was broken and did not get fixed on request. The pool was not heated but it was okay for a quick dive after the sauna. The sauna itself was turned off most of the time although they said it would be on and open from 8am to 8pm. Overall all not too bad but I would expect more for that money. The service other than the one of the the receprion team was nice. (As long as we could communicate with them)
The property was situated nicely in a good district of Lima. The bed was comfy although a bit too small for two people. The pillows were very big and uncomfy but could be changed after the first night. The room was big enough not really spacious though. The breakfast buffet was good an D also changed a little bit every morning, so it didn't get boring.

I booked the room and I am a US citizen and insisted on charging me Peruvian taxes. No other hotel did this. Pool is not heated. Staff has attitude.
Breakfast is very good. Rooms are simple but clean.

The breakfadt buffet a very basic selection in comparasion with previous experiences with other hotels in the same range of price. Room amenities very basic. In comparasion again with previous experiences. Bath robes, bath sandals.
The staff is always good. The beds, pillows and sheats as expectect

The smell , after changing the room , the nauseating smell of the bathroom continued. Not even one bottle of water for free in the room.

Bad neighborhood. Only expensive gringo eateries far from normal local cuisine Staff very rude, they lack manners, after explaining that the bathtub was too small they refused to upgrade me to jacussi suite even though it was free at that time.

Sorry, same as above. About like the breakfast was excellent, the personal were very polite, attentive, professional and kind. Cleaning have an A+. I even passed my finger over a picture frame and there were not dust at all..Swimming pool should have a heater definitively. The Sauna was were maintained and spaciousness. Biut, you need a gym urgently.
ROOM 718 I HURTED MY KNEE AND MY BROTHER TOO IN THE SHOWER. The bathtub wall to get inside too high. Went coming out both of us slept and our knee streched out causing a stabbing pain and now we are limping.sam

Rooms were tired and shabby compared to other parts of the hotel. The pool was dirty and cold. TV in the room didn't work and when asking reception if it could be fixed the person they sent couldn't fix it or speak English. They said they would send someone else but never did.
Lovely communal areas with great decor. Near to local attractions. Pool and sauna available. Breakfast buffet with lots of choice.

room was cold but when I told reception they did send a heater up to my room. We could hear every sneeze & cough from Nextdoor. when the hotel isn’t full why put clients side by side. The room was very stark and so the room didn’t feel welcoming. Curtains, rugs , a plant would have been nice. No mirror in room or kettle.

The room was clean but very cold. The wifi did not work until in the Morning. When I got help from one of the stuff. The people working in the reception were Nice, woman working in the restaurant was more occupied by rules then service.
