We had a lovely stay at Brothers House, we felt very welcomed by the host who was very communicative and helpful. Our room was huge with a lovely hot shower in the bathroom. We were able to leave our bags for a few days when going on a tour which was great. Location is great, in a quiet residential area but only 5 minutes walking to San Blas area.

The location is very good, it is very close to center and mercado san blas, also the neighbourhood was isolated and there were no noise. The room was big enough and there were always hot water. Brandon was very kind and helpful.

Location wasn’t great. It is just a short walk down the hill to the centre and there are shops and restaurants not too far away however it is a very residential area. It didn’t feel quite safe after dark and the many dogs became quite agitated at night. The communal areas are close to rooms so if someone is watching the TV, it can be quite loud in the room however other guest were generally very aware of this and turned the volume down when the movie got loud.

Great value for money. It was great to have a really well equipped shared kitchen. There was also a big TV available to everyone (although we never used it, others did). The staff were helpful and prompt. It was very clean and the shower was always hot.

Minor things; no soap in the bathroom, weird plastic pillowcases. Some construction noise outside during the day, though obviously not their fault.

Big comfortable rooms. Decent hot shower. Really good kitchen that was always clean. Fast WiFi. Location is great, a short walk to the start of the old town, quiet and safe at night. It's in the middle of a bunch of houses so If you're getting picked up by a tour you will need to meet them on the main road (Recoleta). Staff were helpful and always responsive on WhatsApp. I stayed eight nights in total, three separate times either side of two trekking trips where I left at daft o clock in the morning, and they stored my luggage each time.

Not the best if you want a very social atmosphere, but great if you want to be in piece and have a good night's sleep before going on tours

The hosts were extremely friendly and communication was easy, the facilities (bathroom, kitchen, etc.) were very clean and we felt extremely comfortable, many blankets, it was very quiet, shower and hot water worked perfectly

The location is very good. It's located right next to the San Blas Market where you can eat well for a good price. Also, the city center is only a 10 minute walk away. The internet was fast and the rooms clean.

There was a 'drain' odour in the bedroom (even though we followed the signs about keeping the bathroom door closed). There was no hand soap in the bathroom.

Great value for money. The location is within walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the kitchen facilities good. Brandon was very helpful and responsive - we were able to check in early after our night bus and he arranged a taxi to collect us from the bus terminal. The laundry service was good value and easy to use.

Not really the fault of the property but was so cold at night, they provided lots of blankets but there was a very strange effect where we got electric shocks, can’t blame the property but just be aware aha!

Funny smell from the drain in the bathroom sometimes. Not the end of the world.

Very helpful and friendly staff- we were even able to leave our bags for 2 days while visiting Machu Picchu for 5 SOL a bag. Clean and comfortable rooms. They are cold but so are all rooms in Cusco. There’s plenty of big cosy blankets to keep you warm. Hot water in the shower in the evenings and good Wi-Fi. Also good kitchen facilities. Nice location but a little tricky to find in the beginning (without phone data).

There’s no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands with.

The location is only 15 minutes away from the main square and very close to San Blas. We enjoyed the quietness and comfort of the hostel. Keep in account that there’s no heater in the room, but the bed is nice and warm. We could leave our luggage behind for our tour to Machu Picchu, which was very convenient too!

The place is about a 10-15 min walk to the centro historico, which isn't a problem but when you want to go back to your room to pick something up or whatever, it's a bit far to walk back and forth constantly. Also, because it isn't near a road, you have to climb some stairs either to get there or to get to a car to pick you up. So if your bags are heavy it might be a bit difficult with the altitude. But otherwise it was a really lovely place to stay.

Maritza was such a lovely and sweet lady! She was so attentive to us and we really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well stocked and the room was ample and clean. It was quiet, as it was far from any roads
