Host was very accomodating and made sure that the stay was perfect. Some issues with the hot springs were properly dealt with to still allow me to enjoy the canyon to the fullest!

The shower

We had a very nice stay. Casa de Virginia is 'the other hotel' next to the more wellknown Lluahar lodge. Because of unexpected circumstances, we could compare both hotels, and we really prefer this one. It is more quiet, the view is beautiful and the hot pools are warmer. The food also was really really good and the owner indeed is nice. Rooms could have a bit more light and I think one of the first things to do for the owner, is upgrading the shower, which really is rather primitive. But then with the hot pools and during the walk, expectations are lower of course. Still: a nice place to stay!

The location is absolutly beautifull with a lovely garden and an amazing view of the stars at night. The host is warm and helpfull! In addition he prepares a tasty dinner and breakfast. Would very much recommend!!

Great place with spectacular view over the canyon, full of fruits and flowers. The thermal pool was really nice to sit in after the trek, the same goes for the hammocks. Also the owner is super nice and helpful.

Perfect spot in Lluhuar with a very lovely family running the place. Very helpful and friendly! Place feels like a tropical garden. There are 3 warm baths to dive into after the hike, rooms are basic but warm and good beds. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic! What I really liked it that the place feels small and personal.

Amazing garden, beautiful view of the canyon. The food was nice and the atmosphere, eating with the other guests in the cozy garden was lovely. The owners are friendly and helpful and the dogs were cute. Nice hammocks and chill spaces. A great place to relax before and after hiking.

Superb location overlooking the Colca Canyon with a very friendly host. We enjoyed the termal pool a lot. There is also a very good dinner offered. I would definitely recommend to stay at this accommodation when visiting Llahuar.

Casa de Virginia is a peaceful place! The host was really friendly. We had breakfast, dinner and lunch to go. And we enjoyed the hot springs and relaxing in the grass. Beautiful area and the rooms and shared bathrooms were really clean.

This is one of the Most beautiful places we’ve been to on our travels. In the middle of a beautiful Garden with lots of flowers and fruits you can enjoy a stunning view while sitting in a hot spring pool. We definitely recommend this beautiful Garden Eden Place! The host is very friendly and helped us out with a lot of tips!

There were two bathrooms for all residents staying, which amounted to about 10? But everyone was conscious about the fact so the waits were never long.

Lovely location to rest after a hard day of hiking. Enjoyed soaking in the hot springs and absolutely loved the hammocks to stargaze at night. We could actually see the Milky Way! It was gorgeous.

Everything! This property is a true gem. The views of the river in the canyon are magnificent. The hot tub was an excellent touch for weary hikers. The food was tasty. This property knows exactly what it’s supposed to be.

It is the best place I’ve stayed so far. Beautiful garden with lots of fruit, flowers. Wonderful thermal baths (they do exist there and really cool ones among flowers and fruit). Amazing view from gammaks. (I thought that WiFi will be low as in other places, but it was better than in big cities). Everything in this place is made with love and kindness. And you can see the reason. This family, this young kind owner with lots of respect to human being and love to every tree, to every fruit. He is truly a good person. I feel lucky to choose this place and not the neighbor one, which is all about business and parties. This place has a soul. I’m lucky to see it. thanks

Nothing to complain.

This place feels a little bit like paradise. Hot pool and hammocks to relax after your hike. The host is very lovely and attentive. I definitely recommend staying here. Pancakes for breakfast were yummy. Dinner is also available for ~15 /s and was good too!

Clean room, comfortable bed, electricity socket by the bed, wifi better than in many city hotels in Peru, hot shower, relaxing garden. And all if this for $13 while you are on your dusty survival trip through the canyon!

Absolutely loved how tranquil and beautiful Casa De Virgina is. There's hammocks overlooking the whole mountain and river bed. The hot springs are lovely. We ordered a vegan dinner and they happily catered for us.

Wonderful location above the river with views along the valley and amazing thermal baths to recover in. Really friendly host who helped with our trekking plans up to Fure. Room was comfortable and shower hot. Great dinner and breakfast!

What a gem of a hotel in the depths of the canyon! It's a simple place, but with all of the amenities and comforts I needed to enjoy my stay. The grounds are full of fruit trees and flowers. The dogs are friendly. The view is fantastic. There were humming birds feeding near my table while I ate breakfast. The bathroom was simple but clean and functional. I had a hot shower when I arrived in the early afternoon. There were a few pools, one of them filled with fresh warm water. I soaked for a while. They have hammocks with a view. My room was comfortable and clean. I had lights and power. The bed was comfortable. I had no issues with insects. The WiFi was exceptional - rather surprising given the location. I had dinner and breakfast. The meals were modest but exactly what I needed for my three day hike - lots of carbohydrates. They also had beer. The prices were extremely fair, especially considering the location. The owners were very kind and accommodating.

Matrasses could be better and some new sheets wouldn’t hurt, but considering the price it may not even be mentioned..

Amazing location and HOTTUB! - while the popular next door ‘Llahuars lodge’s’ hotsprings were unusable in this season (Jan-March) - very friendly and helpful staff. And so cheap, 10/10 value for money
