Really minor things. No bin in the kitchen, no soap or bathmat in the bathroom. A lamp beside the bed would be great.

Awesome place. Really chilled and quiet, away from traffic and party noise, but only 5 minutes walk to the beach. I arrived at 6:30am from the night bus, just hoping to put my bags and maybe hang out in the common area, but they got my room ready for me for 9, which was amazing. Apartment is a good size and the kitchen is really useful.

The water pressure from the shower head was a trickle.

The staff was incredible with all the information they had for our questions and how flexible they were with our stay. We wanted to extend two more days after our first night and it went smoothly.

The rooms can get quite hot. There is a fan inside but I still had a bit of trouble sleeping.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bed sheets and towels were replaced every second day. Moreover, there are hammocks and a rooftop terrace with charging infrastructure for all kinds of electronic devices. We liked that a lot since it can get quite hot in the rooms. The shared kitchen was also clean and well equipped. The location is also a big plus since it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 to the village where all the restaurants and shops are. If you're lazy, however, there's a mini market right next door.

Its hot in Máncora and it would be good if there was mosquito netting on the windows so they could be opened for a bit more more air flow.

Eduardo is incredibly kind and helpful, a source of so much good advice. The communal areas are great to chill and relax, it’s comfortable and well decorated We were able to hang out after arriving on the overnight bus until our room was ready Casa Naranja is a chill oasis in a noisy town and is close to the beach and town but not too close.

Kitchen in apartment is a bit basic, better to take a private room and use the shared kitchen downstairs. Nice friendly atmosphere

Not a big deal but there was no outdoor shower or bathroom. Sand easily made its way into the room.

A short walk to the beach and the main part of town. The room was clean and comfortable with a fan to keep you cool. We were able to store our luggage here before and after check out.

One of the best hostels we've stayed in. Location is great, very close to the beach and main strip but off the main road so it's nice and quiet. The social and kitchen areas are great! The host is also very friendly and helpful. Really nice relaxing vibe.

There’s nothing not to like

One of the best places I’ve stayed in after travelling South America for 9 months. The trim was comfortable and clean with shower and Wi-Fi was great! The location is a short walk to the beach and amazing restaurants on the main road. Eduardo is around to make recommendations and to see you are ok, perfect host. The only sad part was having to leave so I’ll be coming back for sure.

-Early check out (10:00) -Very low water pressure and sometimes no water in the shower (common problem in Mancora I know, but I planned to wash my hair elsewhere) -Safety questionable: you can lock the door, but not the the windows (ie can opened from outside) and everyone can walk in the property. Nothing happend to me, but it may be good to be aware of this and a suggestion would be to make the windows lockable (or place lockers for at least valuables)

-Bed and room were comfortable -Decent bathroom (shower only cold water, like everywhere in Mancora, but no problem in the hot climate over there) -There’s no airco, but the fan did it’s work (for me even better) -WiFi worked well (in the patio area and in the room) -Shops and restaurants within walking distance (approx. 10-15 minutes). From/to the bus terminal I took a tuktuk (owners can order one) -Although the hostel is a bit out of the town center, I felt safe enough to walk alone to the town center and back at night -Nice outside/patio area -You can stay in the patio area before checkin and after checkout if arriving/leaving by night bus

Make sure you give plenty of notice if arriving early in the morning as we messaged hours in advance but arrived to an empty hostel and had to wait 4 hours for the staff to arrive. However the hostel was so comfortable this didn’t really matter AND they then let us check in early so overall still a very positive experience

the nights were hot, but there was a ventilator in the sleeping room and I asked one for the living room

I liked the place with lot of colours, very nice decorated, with a lot of green in the garden....And good vibes...I stayed in a department, which was nice for 9 nights. The neighbourhood is quiet, Eduardo is very helpfull if you need something and give good advices. The whale tours I did were so special and magic, included a lot of delfins too. And when I had some problems with my knee there was an excellent massage therapist...

Due to the heat and the sand it would be good to have a quick daily change of bins and towels. Sulphuric smell from the bathroom.

A lovely quiet location with very easy access to the beach and the main strip. The hostel itself is a fun layout with decent sized rooms and bathroom. Staff are super friendly & it’s useful to the have the kitchen and communal areas.

Very nice facility. Everything very relaxed. Quiet environment. There is a chill out area on the roof. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Very good wifi. Instead of one week I ended up staying three, including surfing.

The hostal was in a great location with cosy rooms and great facilities (excellent kitchen and beautiful roof terrace). The staff were next-level helpful: they let us check in 4 hours early after our overnight bus got in at 6am, they recommended an excellent whale watching tour so we didn’t get ripped off by the less good ones on the main drag, and when we were leaving, they let us use our room for an extra 10 hours (!) before our next overnight bus left in the evening. Couldn’t recommend Casa Naranja more highly, 11/10.

Todo bien!! Eventually a small improvement could be made in the kitchen - provide new sponges and towels for the plates.

No air conditioning, apartment was extremely warm No hot water, which wasn’t too much of a problem because of the weather but it would have been nice for washing hands & dishes No hand soap or hand in towel in our apartment bathroom No curtains in the bedroom and the blinds did a very poor job of stopping the light coming in making it hard to sleep in the mornings Bedroom pillows were very small & lumpy, new ones definitely needed No bedside lights or lamp in the bedroom
