Our stay at Casa Republica Barranco was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

The staff, particularly those working at the gorgeous rooftop bar/restaurant and at breakfast, were friendly, kind, helpful and super fun to talk to. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave: The location is perfect for exploring Barranco and Miraflores, it is easy to get a taxi or Uber to other parts of Lima, and it is on a lovely street. The building is beautiful and inviting and our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! The dining room is charming, filtered water is always available, and the variety and quantity of food at breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Location fantastic. Beautiful decor, cozy little oasis. Great rooftop bar that promptly shuts off at 11pm. Beautiful decorations. Superb breakfasts, great helpful staff.

The 108 room has a glass wall that faces the garden, which is also the bar, so it can be very loud. Also, the only way to have privacy is to pull a giant blackout curtain across that wall, which makes the room very dark, but the lighting is sparse in most of the room. The bathroom on the other hand has 4 different light switches and sources on two panels, which is also the light to the dressing area. The safe is very low to the ground, making the instructions and operation difficult for someone with a bad back like me. But other than these quirks it was very nice.

The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful to a fault. The room was enormous and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was huge, though oddly laid out. The building and garden were beautiful as well.

What a cool hip boutique hotel in the quiet part of Barranco. So nicely designed and tasteful yet really comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. They helped us book a taxi from the airport and bus rides to the south. Just a few steps from the ocean and boardwalk that goes to Miraflores.

The architecture, the gorgeous rooms, the lovely staff were amazing. Rosa at the front desk knew I had my flight cancelled and was more than welcoming and accommodating. Everyone was kind, professional, and hospitable. The property and the upstairs bar with twinkle lights at night were perfect.

We didn't know we could order omelets until we saw someone receive one. It was only on the 3rd day of our stay a card was desplayed in the buffet area. The omelets were delicious! The air conditioner in our room was a bit noisy and wasn't working the first night because of dead batteries in the remote. It was fixed very quickly when we told the staff. Our room faced the courtyard which was lovely for sitting but was noisy when people were congregating and staff was working. However, it was not noisy betweent the hours of 10pm to 8am which was great!

Well located within walking distance to the galleries and top restaurants in Barranco. The staff were warm and helpful especially those who greeted us at the restaurant every morning. Breakfast was something we looked forward to especially to taste all the different fruit smoothies. The room was spacious.

Wonderful choice! Great room and lovely neighborhood street. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was terrific! We spent a lot of time in the adjacent Miraflores neighborhood but also enjoyed strolling Barranco.

Name of room in booking.com (Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View) is different from the name of room on website and messages from hotel staff (Garden Junior Suite), which was confusing. Also, since the room was a suite I was slightly disappointed it did not have a bathtub.

This is one of the most charming districts in Lima and surely one of the most charming hotels. The breakfast was very good, and the room was very large and comfortable. Easy walking to great restaurants and the sea.

We are not sure, if it was the owner himself. We played cards in the garden and enjoyed the sun. The owner put on some music. We felt disturbed and moved the speaker. He laughed at us and has made it louder. We perceived this behavior as extremely rude. Nonetheless, the staff and hotel itself are fantastic!

I really enjoyed our stay in this stylish and comfortable hotel. Located in Barranco, there are many shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and paid attention to all our needs. The rooms were perfectly sized with lots of space for two (open) suitcases.

All the staff are absolutely wonderful; very friendly, welcoming, good communication, and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the bed was the best I think I have ever slept in. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of options. We would recommend using their bicycles to ride along the ocean front - there was a a cycle track all the way. The roof top bar is perfect for an early evening drink. The hotel is elegant and quiet and well located in the Barranco neighbourhood which felt safe and welcoming.
