Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Nicely located casa in Miraflores with comfortable rooms and beds and friendly personnel. We started and ended our journey here in Peru. The accommodation is very quite and easy to reach. The taxi to the airport is a little more expensive compared to the rates in other areas in Peru.

LithuaniaThe hotel is in a great location. Esperansa Street is quiet, it is important that no one in the building in the neighborhood celebrates their birthday. We listened to electronic hits until midnight one night. from the hotel 10 minutes to Mercado1 (juice, fruit, even a great seafood lunch) which is next to the Metropolitano - bus metro. 11-12 stops to historic downtown for $1. No taxi needed. Next to the hotel is Kennedy Park. Breakfast is monotonous but tasty. The menu is simple - scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, cheese, ham, tea, coffee, buns. The rooms are small (with two suitcases and backpacks there is not much space), but tidy. The bathroom is clean. Very nice staff, helped a lot to optimize our time in Lima. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to walk to the stony beach. The waves tossed us like an empty plastic bottle. The hotel is great!

CanadaThe room did not have much airflow and the fan didn’t work properly. The low speed setting didn’t work and the high speed setting was too loud to be able to sleep when it was going.
The property was in a good location, a very short distance from Parque Kennedy and close to all Miraflores amenities. It was on a side street so it was pleasantly quiet on the property. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and allowed us to store our bags after checkout the day we left.

CanadaUnfortunately this Hotel doesn't have Air-Condition, or else i would have stayed longer. Sound proofing in the hotel isn't very good. I heard the neighbor room played acoustic guitar. I didn't bother me much, but was definitely noticeable.
Friendly Staff, Excellent Location, Nice Little Hotel with Charm. If you don't care for Air-Conditioning, this is a great place at a great price. 2min walk or less to Kennedy Park, the center of Miraflores, Lima.

United StatesThe streets can be a bit confusing at first, lots of small alleys and names are very similar to each other. The temperature can swing from really hot and humid to breezy and cool. Think San Diego weather.
Location, location, Location only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was very robust and staff was very knowledgeable and location was in a safe neighborhood. Free wifi and plently of recommendations for excursions.

United KingdomWe had a room on the ground floor which had a window to reception so we had no daylight as would’ve given up privacy. But fair for the price we paid!
Good breakfast options, great reception area and staff were really friendly, location was great!!! Close to green spaces not far from the beach & lots of restaurants. 5 mins walk from the tourist centre airport service which is 15 soles. Rooms were very spacious and cleaning came each day.
