Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaLocation location location The hotel is located only a block away from the main plaza , Everything around is relatively walking distance. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful with our staying. They did everything possible to make sure we had a smooth check-in. Breakfast was amazing, full of options. Honestly, I do recommend this hotel 100%.

ChinaWi-Fi can sometimes be slow, definitely not suitable if you have to take Zoom calls(learned that the hard way)
Amazing location, it’s one block away from the main plaza and cathedral and right next to the Bolivian Embassy(in case you need to apply for a tourist visa there, but be aware that they might run out of visa stamp papers). Breakfast buffet runs from 5 AM to 8 AM and it’s amazing to have a feast before starting your tour. You also have the option to do early check in for half the price of one night stay. It’s a must when you arrive at 5 AM after taking an exhausting night bus.

United KingdomService was quite slow, the restaurant was closed one night without any reason/explanation. When we ordered a beer one evening a staff member just disappeared (presumably to get it from somewhere) and didn’t appear for 15 mins so we just left and told the front desk to cancel the order.
Location was good, heating and AC good, friendly staff.

United KingdomNothing.
This was my second stay as I was returning from a night on the Islands. The hotel had stored my luggage. This time my room was on the 3rd floor and was even bigger. It included a fridge that operated silently unlike the ones in other hotels I’ve been in. I had two beds and used only one. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom, it has a decent hairdryer and toiletries. There is a air con unit that also delivered hot air which helped take the chill off the room. The breakfast is good and the staff are really nice and helpful. I could also post my postcards there as the box is collected by Serpost once a week. It’s not easy to post thing in Peru. Overall a very decent hotel.

United KingdomI can’t think of anything.
It’s location was very central and I calor walk everywhere from there. The staff are just lovely and very helpful. I was able to get all my Colca canyon washing done the same day. There is is lift! My room was on the 5th floor. It was big and bright with two comfy beds, plenty of covers, space for luggage, air con, good WiFi and plenty of hot water. It’s on a road but I found it very quiet at night. The breakfast is really good with a lot of choices. There is coca tea available all the time. They sell postcards too. I was able to store my big bags while I went to the Lago Titikaka islands. It’s a great local hotel & good value.

AustriaReally great stay here. The staff was really helpfull, lending us umbrelles when it was raining, giving my girlfriend a present when there was international womens day. Just very thoughtfull! The room was great, the shower was great and there is a hairdryer. Wonderfull stay. We recommended it to some travel friends and they were all really happy. They got some breakfast-box because they left early. We were able to store the lagguage for 1 night because of a 2-day island trip.

United StatesI stayed in another hotel for one night, the accomodations were quite rudimentary...so when I met some fellow travels who reccomend this hotel I decided to book a room. I was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms wer spotless, with plenty of clean linens and hot water. I had a very early bus and the staff packed me a delicious breakfast 'to go' as well! 10/10 hospitality experience!

GermanyThe drainage at the toilet is poor It was very difficult to control the temperature of shower. I had no choice but to take an almost cold water or super hot shower at the end.
A franchise hotel. Professional education to the hotel staff is much appreciated The location is very good, near from the Cathedral plaza<Plaza Major>. The most popular restaurant for the foreigners “Mojsa” is 5 min to walk. But the beach is far and you need to take a toktok from the Center of the city. The facility is aged but the room is maintained clean and very wide. A very rich breakfast with many kinds of fruits. You can drink a coffee or a coca tea all the day at the reception.

It's tough to rate this place as we were given a free upgrade to their sister place Casona Plaza which was just a few blocks away. We loved this place - lots of comfort and the best place we've stayed since starting our trip over 2 months ago. Comfortable beds, clean, good shower and huge free breakfast.
