We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomBreakfast was limited and I kept having to ask for things (such as butter, or even a plate). Terrace' was not really useful for anything as it was small and had no seating. Rooms facing the road could be better sound-insulated. No maid service or fresh towels during my 3 night stay - I don't demand daily, but I believe at least every other day is a reasonable expectation.
Good, central location. High standard of cleanliness throughout. Decent shower, Netflix and A/C in rooms all worked well. Wifi was generally good, but patchy at times. Reasonable value for money.

The room was pleasant - decent size, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Great location near the plaza, with lots of bars and restaurants.

United StatesStaff was unfriendly and did not try very hard to help or be nice during my stay - not just toward me but toward other travelers. The breakfast was quite sad and in a cold and drafty upstairs room with makeshift seating. I had booked several nights with breakfast and on the last day, I had to leave before the 830am breakfast started, so I received a packet of 6 crackers and a gatorade as my breakfast to go. Oh well. There is tons of noise throughout the day and night. The shower is quite small and isn't a closed stall - instead there's just a curtain, so it's easy for water to land on the flower - the main ventilation is an open window in the bathroom. If you're ok with a potential draft, then it all works.
Location and proximity to Plaza de Armas is great. You can't avoid the taxi ride from the city's main bus terminal to the hotel though, so be mindful of that. The bed was nice and comfy. Wifi worked. Hot water was really good. The cleaning of the room was excellent.

Totally deserves a rating way better than an 8.4! Squeaky clean shiny floors, white crisp sheets, no-wait hot water, very helpful staff, and nice big window.
