The plush and enormous bed ensured a restful slumber each night, especially with the silent and much needed air conditioning. The views from the private balcony were like a masterpiece painted by nature itself, inspiring a profound sense of awe. Well, my wife is from Lima and it never rains there. So our only disappointment is that it didn’t rain. LOL.

Amazing property!! DO NOT second guess yourself We originally booked for two nights but after the first night we extended our stay another 6 nights. Great staff, beautiful property, safe, super clean and well tended property. Breakfast was amazing every morning. The owners live on site and are super hospitable. I can’t imagine any other properties in the area compare.

We have been in Peru for 6 weeks and this hotel is by far the best! It was so relaxing here and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with everything we needed. We loved the pool and bar especially because it was so sunny. Our bedroom was amazing... The bed was very comfortable and the TV was great. The communication with reception was always very easy. Everything about this hotel was great and nothing else like it in Tarapoto. We will definitely be back 🙌🙌

I loved everything.

The staff and service were EXCEPTIONAL. The entire property is gorgeous, and the rooms are very very nice- super comfy bed! And the food was fantastic! Bravo to everyone at Colina de Montavla!

Chainsaw works at 7.15 on a Sunday morning.

it was kinda far from the city center, the hot water in the shower was not hot at all, at most it was lukewarm, the climate is crazy hot but i like my showers hot, the pillows were veeery un comfortable. oh and the food at the restaurant was too salty for my taste

Unfortunatly the whole day there was loud music in this hotel, which could be heard also in the rooms, which did not have the promised noise protection. Music was mostly easy listening, smooth jazz, which is normally background music of shopping centers and super markets. This does not allow relaxation and is after hours were annoying. Once at 10:30 pm I could reach that it was stopped.
