How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I guess my only recommendation is the hot water in the shower was not very hot, but that’s not a big deal.
Both front desk coordinators were so welcoming and so nice everyday when we saw them. The breakfast squad upstairs (I apologize for not providing names) were so attentive and accommodating and make awesome waffles.

There are stairs to get to the hotel. normally no problem but with the elevation it challenged us!
The hotel was quaint and centrally located. the hotel clerk Karen was so kind. breakfast was good and there was a superb restaurant just down the block.

I traveled to Cusco during a time where there was a lot of uncertainty from the political unrest. Cooper Boutique Hotel was both communicative and flexible when my dates had to shift for Machu Picchu. I am very grateful to them. The room was cozy. The location was convenient. The staff were kind and considerate. And I enjoyed their French toast a lot at breakfast!

The internet was slightly intermittent. Our room on the first two nights was close to a night club which the front desk changed for us after we returned back from a two day tour. If your a light sleeper, request a room with internal window.
The service at Cooper Hotel was very friendly, especially the breakfast team. The room and bathroom was clean with fresh linens and towels.

The view from the window. Some rooms have a window facing the hallway. It would have been nicer if the room had a comfortable chair or sofa.

The temperature was a little too warm in our room so sleeping was a little uncomfortable. There was a fan in the room but it really didn't do much. Other than that we couldn't really complain about anything else about this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, spacious and was exactly what we had expected. This hotel is a short walk to Plaza de Armas where you can find great restaurants, shops and people watch.

Location is close to Plaza de Amas however with no street noise. The room was spacious and clean and the staff (whether at reception or at breakfast) were super friendly and great. Highly recommend for a stay in Cusco.

Our room had no windows and no AC so it was getting very hot at night. Beside that everything was perfect.
The location is amazing. The personal is AMAZING too. the breakfast is the BEST we had in all South America!!! We enjoyed every second at the hotel.

Beds were a little hard. Our room backed up to a nightclub that played music til 5am

As mentioned in some previous reviews there is no outdoor facing windows in some rooms, my window faced the hallway/stairwell which meant no fresh air and closed curtains for privacy. A fan was provided for some air circulation. The water from the shower goes all over the bathroom floor.
The hotel was in a great location and the breakfast room was beautiful. The tea station was also a cute addition. Most of all the staff were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist!

The room was too small, and there was no ventilation (no AC and no window), so it became quite hot and stuffy (I would recommend asking for a room with a window). Also, no space in the room to store your clothes and other stuff.
Great location, very supportive staff who try to satisfy any request, a comfortable bed, clean and quiet room. The hotel reimbursed two nights as we had to leave earlier than expected. Thanks!

We stayed there twice, and the second time our room didn't have any natural light. It had a window to the corridor, but other than that it was a very very nice place.
Great breakfast (vegan friendly) and very nice staff who are very accommodating and go the extra mile for the guests. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the hotel has a good location.
