Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean, quiet and spacious hotel about 12 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. Great views of the cordillera, and (in my case) a very nice balcony. Shops, services and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant is good (although service is somewhat slow— a frequent issue everywhere in Peru). Staff were very kind and accommodating.

The receptionist - gold star. Amazing how being greeted by a friendly smile makes you feel welcome and at home, plus she helped us throughout our stay. I wish I remembered her name, she made the hotel outstanding even without perfect facilities. She was a young lady with 3 letters in her first name

I want to give a special thank you to the receptionist Luz and Angel for all her help and kindness, you made that our stay in Huaraz one of the best travel experience so far. Thank you very much ! I highly recommend this hotel not only by its personnel but also by their facilities, we've got a room with a clear view over Huascarán mountain. The food at the restaurant is very good. As for breakfast during low season, they don't have a buffet service which I think is a good practice to avoid food waste. Everything what we requested for breakfast they gave us, I wish other hotels have the same practice !
