Absolutely not 24hr reception so word of warning if you're booking it for that reason. I arrived after a night bus and place was locked up.

We couldn't sleep in the room with a double bed, the bathroom wasn't very clean and the suicideshower gave me an electric shock.

Staff was friendly, when we decided to leave earlier and change hostel due to my incident with the suicideshower they were very understanding.

Everything! I mean I have stayed in lots of cheap places that are great. This isn’t one of those. Despite everyone telling me it was located in a safe area (and probably it is), it doesn’t look like it at all; it’s ZERO inviting. Super dark at night time both in and out of the place… the bathrooms don’t work properly, and are dirty… the windows do not protect you from the sunlight… the towels they give you are not properly washed, they looked with dirt and stains on them… the breakfast is just bread with jelly and butter, and fliers are all over them. Would never be back nor suggest anyone to do it. The place is awful.

The price! That was definitely the only reason why I booked it… I was supposed to only spend one night in Cusco so didn’t want to spend that much. The staff. They were kind.

It is not 24H reception, if when I arrived there was no one there and I had to wait 30min. I sent a whatsapp message and tried to call, but no answer. After waiting a bit more even after the person arrived, my check-in was quite fast, I was not told the check-out time, the breakfast... only the room and the shared bathroom. Bathroom that did not give me hot water in the morning when I went there, even though I had lifted the buton as I had been warned during the check-in. At night, from 10pm when I returned until maybe 00.30, there was a continuous and strident noise that made it impossible to rest. I tried to ask but still no one at the reception to answer me on whatsapp. The breakfast was very basic: hot water (which was not hotter) a piece of bread, butter, and jam. All in all, it didn't make my stay in this hostel a good one..

The location is quite good, 8-10 min from the main square or the San Pedro market. Nice people too managing the hostel, they allowed to leave my bagpacks for the day after checking out, which was nice, though not in a storage closed room.

The bathroom is teeny tiny! You almost need to jump over the toilet to get to the shower. A big person will have a bad time using the bathroom. There are no photos of the bathroom provided in the room description so we weren't sure what we would find. Also, not sure of the reason but apparently it is required to tell staff when you need to shower, otherwise you won't get any water. Lastly, the toilet seat is broken with plastic parts sticking out, very unconfortable to use. We had a problem with the room main door, it got stuck and when we got back we had to wait at least half and hour for the staff to opened it. I understand it is a cheap hotel and family business, but definetely they could provide a better service. A toilet plastic seat is so cheap! Please replace it.

It is a cheap hotel with a relatively good location as it is at walking distance to main square (plaza de armas), but because of the price better be realistic and don't expect much. The staff service was great, they were very kind and prompt to assits us. Room was clean and tidy

Traveller beware: a reservation, even if confirmed by the hostel, won't guarantee you a place! They seem to have the tendency to overbook and then, maybe an hour before the check-in starts, cancel your booking and give you some made-up excuse. It happened to me, and checking the previous reviews it happened to some others, plus who knows how many did not report it. I had a long journey from Arequipa to Cusco and arrived late, assuming I have a place to stay, only to find out that's not the case, so I had to look for another accommodation at night. Not a pleasant experience! Then, after I complained to Booking.com, the hostel tried to blame me and said to them I didn't show up! For the attention of the hostel: 1, don't overbook! 2, if it happens, have the honesty and admit it, don't come up with something that is not true. And 3, don't blame the guest for something you did wrong!
