I didn’t like the surrounding area very much because I felt unsafe. There were lots of people waiting around outside the hotel who made me feel very uncomfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I felt very safe staying in this hotel. The rooms were quiet and clean. Hot showers and cold AC :) The breakfast was pretty good as well.

The only minor negative thing is that the only way to have privacy in the room is to close the curtains, no natural light if in the room during the day.

The staff was wonderful. Location convenient to the boulevard. Room is tiny but comfortable. Bed comfortable. Hot water and air conditioning! Breakfast is good and there is a pool.

Size of Room: Booking.com had the size of the room as 172 SqFt. However, to me it appeared much smaller so I did measure the size with my iPhone and found the bedroom about 97 SqFt and the toilet area about 33 SqFt. The following morning I did bring this to the attention of the Hotel and in the afternoon they said they can shift me to a bigger room. I had declined as I was leaving the following morning. The hot water was not functional (maybe there is no hot water although the shower had two valves) on both days. Various items listed in booking.com, like iron, suit press - I did not see in the room. Storage space for clothes were minimal. I had to keep my clothes in my suitcase and some on the desk.

Although road construction was going on in front of the property, there was no noise or dust issues (the construction work was from about 0730 to 1730 Hrs) and did not disturb my sleep. The place was clean and breakfast was OK.

Breakfast was plain and packed variety of choices. Bathrooms didn't have enough toilet paper and we were only given one towel when we reserved for two people. Wouldn't stay here again.

I liked almost everything about this hotel and I look forward to returning. However, the budget room is a bit too small. The walls are thin, and if the neighbors aren't mindful of how loud they speak, you can hear them. When I showered, the water reached the floor in the room a bit - that happens because of the position of the shower head.

Hotel Jungle House is really close to the center. It looks like a garden, if you love plants, you'll definitely enjoy your stay there. The room was small - I had the budget room, but very comfortable. Amazing bed, hot water, silence during the night because the road is under construction. The breakfast is basic but nice. The location is safe. Also, the wifi was working pretty good, which is a big plus.

Nothing in the room would ever dry. Not sure the hotel can do anything about this though. This is just Iquitos. But the hotel staff were fine with changing the bath towels every day. The room was quite small but this is what we chose (the cheaper option) so this is our problem. Breakfast was a bit small but freshly made.

The pool was very welcome. Was great to have hot water available in the lounge. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is in the best part of Iquitos which I think is only going to get better with all of the building work going on. At the end of the road you have a lovely view into the Amazon rainforest.

Unfortunately, a lot of ne’er do wells on the streets making for an uncomfortable walk between the hotel and the popular tourist restaurants. The city needs to do some clean up to help with tourism.

The breakfast was really poor. Cold coffee. Juice with way too much sugar. The bread was for me uneatable, so I just had the egg. Breakfast service was bad too, had to ask for a bit of milk multiple times before they got me a very little bit. This was repeated every day. We overpayed for the river tour in comparison to other tourists. The room of the floor was sandy and was not cleaned in 4 days. So I used the towel to clean it znd put the dirty towel outside which was tzken zwzy bug not replaced.

The room was big, nice bed, nice bathroom, I got a bigger room because they did not receive my booking.

Maybe the breakfast could be more varied, but other than that I have no complaints.

My room was beautiful and really clean. The breakfast was nice, although a little more variety would be great. They had free tea and coffee at reception, and the pool was a lovely luxury.

The room was very small and there was no WiFi available in the room. Only the reception area had WiFi. We had to leave very early in the morning and it was not possible to provide us some sandwiches for breakfast.

We could leave our suitcases in the hotel for 2 weeks without any additional cost, while we were on a rainforest expedition.
