I loved that this is family owned and operated. The mother and son checked me in. Each morning the father made me a beautiful breakfast and the mother greeted me with a hug. They really looked after me while I was here, communicated with me on WhatsApp when needed. I felt like I was my second home, being cared for by parents. The father took me to the airport when it was time And gave me a proper goodbye. Don’t hesitate to stay here when in Tarapoto. Nothing like it 💜. Also small touches like a real bath rug by the shower, things like this make it feel like you’re right at home !

Much like rest of the rural Peru, there's lack of hot showers however you will not miss them much since it's hot most of the time

My partner and I enjoyed everything about our stay at the Green House and we stayed their twice on our recent trip to Peru. It's located on a quiet safe dead-end street next to the arterial route close to downtown area. The hotel is beautiful with lots of greenery and outdoor space to relax or do yoga. Breakfast was simple but delicious with good local coffee and freshly squeezed papaya juice. Our executive suite was large, clean, and had a comfortable bed and an air conditioner. Owners are the sweetest family that ensured that our stay was care free and memorable - they are the embodiment of hospitality! Bonus if you are an animal lover, you'll get to hang out with three adorable puppers and two loving cats. We would come back in a heart beat!

The internet could be a little faster, but it works. They make the room every day but in my case they did not clean the bathroom and put new toilet paper or took out the garbage from the toilet bin (it was no problem and the lady in charge took care of it after telling her).

I had the executive suite with the panoramic view which I liked very much. The lady in charge helped me a lot with my tours which made my stay in Tarapoto very pleasant. She is doing a great job running this place. The breakfast varies from day to day and is very good and you get a lot of fresh juice. Loved the location closed to the jungle.

The property is exactly as described in the pictures, green, bright open space, beautiful gardens amongst nature. The breakfast was outstanding and healthy served in the middle of the garden: delicious fresh papaya juice, bread, eggs, avocado, coffee, tea, butter, etc. the rooms perfectly clean and spacious. The best part though is the personnel, the owners (this Peruvian couple) are super warm and welcoming, they helped us all the time, and provided us more than what we expected. Thank you all the staff! It was a great holiday in Tarapoto and we loved the city and very friendly people 😊 Ps: other than the beautiful birds on the trees, they have lovely cats and friendly dogs who will welcome you at the door each time you enter 😍

I enjoy cold showers especially when it's hot and humid outside. They feel refreshing and invigorating! But if you require hot showers probably best to stay elsewhere.

Green House has become my home away from home. Celmita and Jorge are the most wonderful hosts you can imagine. I travel a lot and I have never experienced such kind and caring thoughtfulness from a hotel as I have here! They go out of their way to be sure you have everything to be happy and comfortable. Jorge picked me up from the airport and gave me advice about restaurants in town and places to go. I was on a specific diet and they arranged my specific breakfast to what my goals were without even telling me! The breakfast is healthy and the service is wonderful. The grounds of the hotel are nature-themed with trees, bushes, garden, and wild birds are always visiting. There are monkeys in the trees which I saw right outside my window! The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and the windows are tinted quite nicely for privacy and maybe so birds don't fly into them?! I was able to work on my laptop with strong wifi in quiet and air-conditioned comfort. They also allowed me to check out a few hours late which helped me tremendously! The peaceful location is an easy 10 minute walk or a 5 sole mototaxi to downtown. Jorge and Celmita are the definition of hospitality; I will definitely be back here someday! Muchas gracias!! <3

This is an exceptional place to stay. I stayed here twice during my time in Tarapoto. Jorge and his wife were brilliant- they couldn't do enough for you and went out of their way to ensure that your stay was enjoyable. I felt like I was part of the family- even enjoyed breakfast with them! The room was fantastic, very clean and a good size, with a very comfortable bed! It was an easy 5 minute walk to town

It’s a family home run by the kindest, sweetest family with lovely garden and roof terraces. my room and bed were very comfortable and also very clean. it was also only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. three dogs and two cats to play with too.

Very nice little hotel tucked away in an unassuming Tarapoto street. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a beautiful little jungle garden courtyard to walk around. It's run by a family and they make sure to make you feel welcome. Great value. I highly recommend it.
