This hostel is a 15 min walk away from Huacachina in a quiet neighborhood in Ica. It has really clean rooms with super comfy beds. A nice common space around the pool. Clean kitchen with a fresh sponge (a rare sight in hostels).

Everything was ok.

The location is perfect - short distance from the desert, but on a quiet location. The pool is perfect - clean and warm enough. Parking is at the entrance. Food was good. The room was spatious, beds were comfortable. Good price for a good performance. Perfect for families or couples.

Ideally located for us, an easy walk or tuc-tuc into to the oasis or back to Ica. Great pool and well equipped kitchen. Really good place to stay.

I chose this hotel as it was near The Peru Hop bus drop off. Its a lovely family friendly hotel. It is clean and tidy but I wouldn't say luxury. We paid extra for our breakfast which was all fine - they kindly gave me extra avocado as a gluten free option. The pool was a great bonus. The fan in our room was much appreciated too.

Although their name is desert house, it’s in the middle of the dunes. So the name is a bit misleading. Everytime we come to the hotel, we waited for 5 mins so someone opens the door. I had to message them on whatsapp.

It’s clean, comfortable, good value for money hostel. Staff are friendly and fair. Wifi is good enough even on the second floor. Location is good not the best, you can walk to the oasis or you can take tuktuk for 4-5 soles each.

When we were there (dec 23) there was building work next door during weekdays which was very noisy during the day.

We had the most fabulous host at this oasis at the oasis. Katy was excellent feeding us and serving us the best cocktails by the magnificent pool. The whole place including the rooms is absolutely spotless and cleaned non stop. Breakfast and lunch options are few but affordable and delicious. The rooms are huge with fan, strong WiFi, TV and shower. There’s a gym and additional poolside showers to freshen up after check out. Grab a 5 soles tuktuk to Huacachina. Drive takes 3 minutes.

The only downside was the room was very hot! We could sleep no problem as there was a fan. Just something to keep in mind.

The services was great, super friendly ladies, lovely breakfast, great faciliies and very good matress! Nice and sturdy, and it didn't make any noise when moving around at night.

The staff were so lovely, especially Cati - so welcoming and helpful. Bed was comfortable & good amount of space. Clean, and staff changed our towels. Place is in between Ica & Huacachina, we could walk to some nearby shops, or moto was cheap to Ica.

We booked a second buggy tour after enjoying our first and the driver was an hour late. When we decided to take ourselves to the meet up point at the oasis, no one was there waiting for us, so we had to book a buggy ourselves and it was no where as good as the first tour.

The location was excellent - not inside the oasis or close to all the noise on the party street, so it was quiet, but close enough to walk 15 minutes or take a cheap tuk tuk. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The place itself was much nicer than the pictures show it to be. Good drinks by the pool at a great price.

It was nice and quiet, a small little oasis close to the bigger oasis. A tuktuk there is 5 soles and easy to get. Cati is a gem and absolutely lovely, organizing the buggy ride for us. Super kind lady who has made our stay perfect. The rooms are basic but absolutely fine for the one night we stayed. Breakfast is also basic but perfectly fine, if you don’t expect a five star brunch. We were able to hang out in the hotel and leave our luggage

Nice hostel, a bit outside of Huacachina town. We took a 5 soles Tuktuk to take us there. Nice room, clean and relax area.

We had a fantastic stay at Huacachina Desert House. The staff were so kind and helpful and it was very comfortable. It was a short walk to the lagoon and easy to also go into Ica town. The pool was really nice and the room clean. We would stay again!

Clean and comfortable. Very secure, quiet part of town 15 mins walk into the oasis - just over the hill. Or 5 Sol in a mototaxi. Rooms very new, good linen and nice support from Mercedes on the front desk.

Everything was fine. It’s a solid spot to unwind and escape noisy tourists/ nightclubs.
