! Have activities everyday at the hostel as part of your stay Have a tourist information desk, to help plan your next steps Breakfast was amazing so much variety! Beds were so comfortable! Curtains, lockers and outlets beside the bed make a perfect private oasis from the party and socializing in the main areas. Even with this being considered a 'party' hostel it was peaceful and quiet at night. I also got sick while I stayed here and they looked after me so well during the night. So glad I stayed here.

Breakfast should start at 6:30 but at the time you can get only bread, butter and jam as the rest only arrive around 7.

very organized with many services: breakfast, baggage storage, free teas, bar, tour operator, laundry service and so on. The double room was very good and in a quiet place. The dorm had curtains for privacy.

Private bathroom belonging to dorm 204 wasn't clean. (never). Overal clean hostel but bathrooma on the floor are much cleaner.

Luxury dorm is perfect. 'normal' dorm 204 was fine. Bathrooms on floor are cleaned multiple times a day. Great facilities in the hostel. Friendly staff. Breakfast for take away available when leaving early. Lots of activities in the hostel. Free walking tour, free tea. Every night activities.

The booking process was not great. I had to change room, even though I booked another one. The receptionist said it was an error on their website, but still I had to adapt to a different room.

The bed was comfy. The position was perfect in the historical centre of cusco. Loved the rooms and the shared area.

If I’d have to say one thing, the water pressure in the shower would sometimes fail a bit. The hot and cold water do not really mix.

Everything about the hostel looks great. The facilities are super and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The wifi was really good and the breakfast was super complete.

We knew it was hostel and it would be louder than most places, so you need ear plugs to sleep at night

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location to central area in Cusco. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We stayed in private room with private bathroom, so we can only speak on that. Great place to stay for a basecamp before our trekking adventure. Very affordable for one night. Great security, felt safe.

Since the hostel is super popular in town, they have a very hard time to accomodate requests like late check out. My husband had to be hospitalized the night before we left and when we came back 1 hour before the check out, we had to hurry up to leave the room (it was a private room) because they had to clean and already had someone else waiting on the room. I do understand that this was not the Hostel fault, but it's something to take into consideration if you'd like to request anything similar.

Everything was fine! The highlight for me was the option to request an early breakfast on the day before, since many tours in Cusco requires you to leave the hotel by 4AM, and usually breakfasts starts to be served at 6AM. So this was a really good surprise, and the take away breakfast was super complete!

I guess there's around a 50% chance of getting a hot shower, both mine were cold. Not exactly quiet, but that comes with the atmosphere.

The sleeping pods are nice, great atmosphere in the hostel.

Bar was expensive, but I did not go. During beer pong night the noise from bar was audible from room. Lockers were a little small.

Tad noisy at night and the floors are very creaky so any movement everyone else can hear

Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety compared to other hostel breakfasts in Peru. Location was perfect too, super close to the main square. Staff were friendly, beds were comfy and it was excellent value. Plus the laundry was super speedy!

there was a party till midnight with very loud music. if rooms don’t have good sound isolation, maybe it’s not worth it to organize such activities. there are a lot of travelers with jet lag;)

I had the best first days in Cusco! The hostel has a perfect location, comfortable beds, activities every day (but you can sleep very well too), it’s very clean and you meet a lot of nice people :)

The bathrooms were so spacious, clean and overall excellent. I’ve never experienced a bathroom like this in a hostel. You will always have a dry space to put your clothes and the space to take your time for some self care. I really loved this aspect about the hostel. Also, the hostel bar was very fun. There is a different theme every night and it is the perfect place to meet others. The staff is also super friendly! I really loved my stay here and it is my best hostel so far.

This hostel came recommend on the backpacker party circuit and I understand why - plenty of space, all new and clean facilities, good bar and party vibes. For me personally it was too loud but I think you know what you’re getting into with Kokopelli. Definitely cheaper options out there in Cusco but Kokopelli is worth the money if you want security/no hassle.
