Be careful if you want to wash your clothes. The external laundry provider they used damaged/shrunk half of our clothes. An expensive problem for us!

It’s on a narrow road up a hill, which can be an issue for any large vehicles (if you have booked a tour with hotel pickup, for example)

The staff are very friendly and helpful, helping me to arrange activities in and around Cusco. It’s situated in the old part of Cusco, so is easy to explore Cusco from the hotel (and has great views too)

No water in room. No tea making equipment.

Good location, close to main square, but plenty far enough away to be quiet. Very nice upper floor room with two windows. Good breakfast. Very nice young woman, who was very helpful.

I highly recommend a stay at Gold Garden. The service is impeccable, they go over and beyond to ensure that your experience is positive. The room was beautiful, comfortable and kept very clean. The breakfast was copious and delicious. They even provided a lunchbox when our tours left too early for us to enjoy the breakfast in the beautiful(heated) courtyard. The location is ideal, close to everything, but far enough that we slept like babies during our 7 night stay.

I stayed in the superior double room for 3 nights. The room was super spacious and equipped with everything you need, and the views from the windows were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. and the breakast (there was a great variety to choose from) was delicious. Hightly recommended!

Walking back uphill to the hotel is a little challenging.

Good breakfast, great WiFi, hot shower, very kind staff especially Miguel who helped me book a few tours and Soledad from the breakfast staff.. Free hot water, Coca and Muna tea available in the reception area.. Great views of the city from the room, walkable to the main square..Everything was very clean..There is also a mini fridge in the room.

Friendly staff, tea and coffee always available in reception. Packed breakfast at no extra charge if you've got an early departure. A good heater in the room for those cold Custco nights!

As so many guests do tours at different times it can be noisy at times you want to sleep / rest. No dressing gowns in room

We loved our stay here. Room 17 was so spacious it was a huge apartment suite. Lots of character, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. The hotel is just minutes away from the main plaza. It was nice they offered a packed lunch on days you couldn’t eat breakfast (due to tours and trips)

Lovely quiet location. Was up a hill so a bit of a climb from the town but good exercise. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The breakfast is good but more variety would be appreciated. It usually consists of an omelette, cereal and fruit, with not much variation.

The property is a 5 mins walk from the central square, located slightly uphill (which can definitely be felt given the altitude!). This allows some of the rooms to have a great view over Cusco. The rooms are a good size and ours also had a balcony. The reception staff were very helpful and the reception area has tea available. They also offered free luggage storage during our Salkantay trek.

Welcoming was great, gave us a brief about Cuzco and helped us to have the room before check in time. Breakfast box to go were ready to pick up every morning before we were leaving early for tours. Cleanliness was good, decoration was charming. Bed was comfortable. Location is 8 min walking to main plaza. A little apart from people and noise. We loved it. Our plan was to stay just for 2 nights, and we stayed 2 more nights. Thank you.
