The only negative was the lack of A/C and the fact the fans didn’t run all the time. But we were in the Amazon so we didn’t expect it. It was hot and humid though.

Had a lovely time at the inkaterra. Our guide Nixon was amazing and very knowledgeable he had a story for everything. Thank you so much for looking after us and showing us the Peruvian Amazon which was a dream come true.

The only thing I would mention is I don’t think I got any wake up knocks for early morning excursions (other guests mentioned they too didn’t hear it)…this is minor as I had my own alarm. thank you for a wonderful experience.

David was a wonderful guide, the meals were amazing-so impressive there was so much choi s considering the remoteness. All of the staff were deeply kind and considerate. i loved the cabins, excellent mosquito coverage too :) i also had a spa treatment which was divine

Our arrival was haphazard. Hated feeling like part of package tour & wanted to be checked in quickly and shown personally to our room rather than being herded into lunch. That did stop by the evening but it wasn’t a good start. A few touches would have made the difference - a personalised schedule of tours - we were left to rather piece that together ourselves and more visible Hotel Management. It’s all very well offering a warm welcome as we disembark from the boat but after that we saw no one and there’s no concierge or management desk to go to.

Lovely property just far enough into the rainforest. We were glad to have chosen this property over the Hacienda. The place has nice open feel with good central restaurant & bar. Great to be able see the river. Good daily tours with knowledgable guides.

Too much down time between guided tours. We wish we could have gone on more excursions throughout the day.

Beautiful Eco-lodge tucked into the jungle. Easy and comfortable place to stay when exploring the jungle. We saw tons of wildlife.

The trips seemed a bit rigid in their planning. We were fresh off the plane and there for a holiday and didn’t want to have to be up early in the morning. But the morning trips seemed to begin at 5.30 am - to which we said no. There could have been more lee way - there was no particular reason for these trips to begin so early. Also saw almost no animals at all. And had hoped to see a local village but there aren’t any anywhere near. So it was lovely and relaxing but could have had more excursions at a time that suited us. Also the food was a bit bland - hotel food. Breakfast was actually the best meal.

This is a truly beautiful place and we had a lovely relaxing stay. Enjoyed our beautiful cabin with its hammocks very much. The bed also lovely and the citronella essence perfect for keeping the mosquitoes away. Also good to visit in the winter season, when there were fewer bugs. And the staff, guides etc were uniformly lovely.

Nothing to complain about at all. The showers were tepid but were actually a welcome relief from the sticky heat.

From start to finish, our stay was a wonderful experience. We didn’t have to worry about anything. I felt like everyone really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The lodges were clean and comfortable, the restaurant was very good, staff were excellent, the excursions were fantastic and the surroundings were amazing.

Take a long wait to get warm water in the cabin. Food is of sometimes good quality, sometimes not so great quality. However, you need to consider you're in the middle of the rain forest.

Everything was great but it might have been helpful to get a bit of information about the tour options and general itinerary in advance and what we could expect. Because our flight was delayed and we waited along time for people who missed the pickup we arrived late and felt rushed at first and were concerned we would miss the activities we wanted to see in the short amount of time we had.

Our trip to Inkaterra Amazonica was an amazing travel experience. Anderson was our knowledgeable guide who showed us all of the amazing creatures and scenery. Our concierge was there to meet every need we had even before we thought to ask. The hotel had very comfortable and clean rooms, with amazing food selections, and everyone we met provided amazing service to meet all of our needs. This will truly be one of our most memorable experiences of a lifetime.

A few loud guests who did not adhere to the atmosphere of the place where you don’t have much privacy because everything is open and close to each other. More distance to other guests you will have at the other Inkaterra place nearby, the newer Hacienda Concepcion (however not the same atmosphere, I think). otherwise, everything was very nice!

Beautiful lodge with tasteful, locally inspired decoration in rustic but very appealing buildings, great food and service, well organized and thought-through cabanas with all you need. Great excursions and thoughtful, knowledgeable guides. My highlights were the canopy walk at sunset with beautiful views above the trees at 40m height and the tours to the botanical and fruit gardens with the canoe tour along the Hacienda Concepcion with Shansha sightings.

communication before arriving could have been improved. I wasn't sure how it works (and how smooth it is), was understandably a bit worried about how pick up works. Having responses to my questions would have saved a lot of stress, but all of that didn't matter as soon as we stepped into the pick up bus. Absolutely loved the whole experience.

Everything! A magical hotel located in a magical place. The service was impeccable and everything is just so seamless, from the moment you arrive to your departure (they even printed our boarding cards without us asking and assisted our group to the airport in case there are any issues). The tours are excellent, food is delicious and our river lodge felt incredibly relaxing. We stayed for 3 nights, but I could easily stay a week! We were undecided between a cruise on the Amazon river and staying here, and so glad we chose Inkaterra. Seriously the best hotel I've been to, and I travel a lot.

An incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. it may seem expensive at first, but when you consider that the transfers to and from the airport, all the meals, most of the guided towards through the jungle and other activities, and the typical hotel amenities such as housekeeping are all included, then it’s not that expensive really. You also have to consider that it is in such a remote place that maintaining all the huts in this unforgiving land landscape is not cheap. All the trips we had were amazing, thanks David our guide!!. The food was delicious, and the service was really good. We did not have any mosquitoes in the room as there are mosquito nets in every window and door, which do let alone fresh air in. Everything was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a number of comfortable amenities such as umbrellas in case it rained, sandals for you to walk around, a couple of towels per person in case they didn’t dry out, mosquito repellent, water bottles for you to use during your stay, and much more which I don’t want to ruin as a surprise.

what an amazing experience !!! we had the best time here snd didn’t want to leave . the excursions were a ton of fun , the cabins and their river views were breathtaking and the food was next level . this place does not disappoint !
