How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The air controls for the room were weak, not able to cool the room a few degrees and the second night the fan stopped blowing air and made the room almost unbearable.
The location was ideal and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was perfect to get the day started. Lunch at the gastropub was delicious and drinks on the rooftop bar was a delightful way to end the day.

- The hotel is very nice and it is located next to many restaurants & supermarkets. - The breakfast is delicious (it was one of the most complex breakfast I’ve had so far in a hotel) - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. They have also prepared a breakfast box for us in the day we left as we had to leave very early in the morning.

Lovely and comfy room. Best breakfast we had in Peru!!!! The hotel also gave us a cocktail upon arrival and free bottles of water. The swimming pool was very hot (perhaps a bit too much ☺️) Lovely staff Extremely good value for money

The swimming pool and the location on the heart of Miraflores

Noisy air conditioning. No kettle in room.
Wonderful welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Luggage storage is very handy if required.Noisy air-conditioning. No kettle in room but there is a coffee machine and hot water can be requested. Great breakfast and rooftop bar. Excellent location for exploring.

I liked absolutely everything. The staff is overall extremley kind, 100 % porfessional and do their atmost to make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful, large, spottless clean, with all amenities you need for a great stay. The location is just perfect, in the center of Miraflores, within a few minutes walk to all highlights Miraflores has to offer.

Nothing really. The gastrobar and rooftop bar could use better food options especially vegetarian friendly when the entire city offers it!
10-15 minutes away from the beach by walk Comfortable beds, best sleep ever. Bunk beds for the kids were extremely useful Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Stephany and Paloma in particular stood out for their hospitality. Breakfast was exquisite in many ways and the rooftop bar with swimming pool was an attractive feature

Nothing, we really liked our stay!
Very modern room and setup. Amazing breakfast with many options. Very nice pool on the rooftop, with view on Lima. They also had welcome drinks on the rooftop bar. Location very close to restaurants and local parks.

The phones do not call reception or room service. Although it rings no one picks up but there were staff in the reception area and the dining area. The towels (although large) were a little threadbare
Very comfortable large room and bathroom. We asked for a quiet room and we were located at the end of a passage with no noise whatsoever. The rooftop bar is great as was the pool. We did not include the breakfast option so cannot comment on that. The Lady Dee bar across the road is truly astonishing albeit pricey
